**Fantastic Opportunity** for IPL teams for next season!!

Recommended Posts

After ending their successful campaign in IPL 5 on a high by reaching the play-offs, :mi: has decided to let other teams get the benefit to own some of their match winning players who are full of Jazbaa & Junoon. There players are top professionals and never ever shy away from sacrificing themselves for the team's cause. We know that other teams will pay anything to get hold of these players..Only 2 players (maximum) are allowed to go to a team so that all teams get a fair chance to get these superstars.. I know you can't wait to know the names of these players. SO HERE THEY ARE: 1. Harbhajan Singh 2. Keiron "Kiran" Pollard 3. James Franklin 4. Ambati Rayudu 5. Rohit Sharma 6. Adrian Blizzard 7. Richard Levy 8. Pragyan Ojha 9. Karthik KD 10. R P Singh ...AND..... 11. Munaf Patel :two_thumbs_up:

ohk. But players like M.Mishra' date=' Pandey, Suman changed their franchise.[/quote'] Its players choice if they want to change the franchise or stay with the them. If they want to change then they can communicate to IPL GC and franchise and it is franchise choice if they want retain a player or not.

Thats why the sting operation was mainly on uncapped players and franchise changes.

Pollard, Rayudu and Sharma all worth getting. I'll ask Gayatri to cough up the money and get all three of them to beef up the pathetic DC batting lineup. You can have Sanga in return. -Dhawan -Sharma -White -Rayudu -Duminy -Pollard -Patel -Reddy -A. Sharma -Mishra -Steyn IPL 6 champions.

No Don't want Sanga.. Thanks.. You can only have 2 players maximum..
Rayudu and Sharma, to keep the foreign slot free. Updated team: -Dhawan -Rohit Sharma -White -Rayudu -Duminy -Patel -Nannes -Steyn -Ankit Sharma -Mishra -Ishant Sharma ^unless there's a 2-sharma limit as well
Nah he should go the Malinga way and focus on his t20 skills
Kaunse skills bhai?

New auctions again next year. WTF. IPL like to create massive confusion. Let the teams stay atleast 3 years...& then let franchise decides whom to keep & let go. It appears that no matter what...smart franchise have to cover the mistakes of stupids ones + MI mistakes

No. The fresh auctions take place after 3 years. They were there in '08, '11 and now will be conducted in 2014.

I you want to win in India you need good spin options. Period. KKR has finally that. They were where they should be.
Not just India, good spin/slow bowlers is the way to go in T20 anywhere in the world. Tassie had just one good batsman - Travis Birt, but 2-3 good spin options and they ended the league phase as runner up in the BBL.

Then how on earth do we get rid of jaddu?
Good point...If not for auctions how does any team get rid of useless players...Or some players who are OK to be in some team, but on present form are way too overvalued. Saurabh Tiwary and Yusuf Pathan are examples of players who were bid based on past performances which they could not replicate subsequently. Auctions take care of the market dynamics.

If you don't want a player you can put him back in the pool i.e. you can retain as many players (you think will get the job done for you) as you want and send the rest to an auction. Makes sense :hmmm:

the franchise can make a contract with a player for 3 years...like now. Then once 3 years finished...the existing franchise should have the 1st rights to renogociate another contract for 3 years with that player. If the franchise & player dont come to an agreement, the play goes back to auction pool

Transfer market with caps so it doesn't become like England where Chelsea and Man City bought themselves the league. The budget has to be fixed and agreed upon in a vote by all team owners.
The auction is a transfer market, it's the fairest way. No backroom dealing.

The auction is a transfer market' date=' it's the fairest way. No backroom dealing.[/quote'] Infact....even this joke of going upto 2mil for a player & then secret biding should be scraped. Let the franchise bid as high as they want for players & that has to go against their total quota. All players who are retained..their contract amount should made public also & it should also be adjustment against the franchise quota. This will keep every thing is transparent....& we are sure that franchise like MI & CSK are not going over their quota.

The joke was teams bidding for Jadeja for upto 2mil. Without Auctions and salary cap, the IPLs would have ended up going mental bidding like 10mil. If anything it's shows how the stupid the valuations are that players like Jadeja and Pathan get paid so much, without auction they would end up being bid so much more like in european football where obscene amount of money is spent on ordinary players.

Pune shld go for sachin. They can top the most searched team list with sachin and dada opening combo. :hysterical:
:hysterical: Yeah .. Pune can open with Sachin and ganguly, with Dravid at no 3 and Laxman at 4. In bowling, they can open with Sreesanth and Nehra, with Harbhajan Singh as the main spinner. there wont be one empty seat in the stadium with such a team !!
