Murali Vijay starts celebrating and continues to run towards the crowd after taking a simple catch on a No ball while the batsmen complete two runs! Not blaming Vijay here but fielders must have a good presence of mind instead of prematurely celebrating like loonies. An early throw could have easily been good enough to avoid two runs being taken there and Tiwari would have been on strike for the last ball. Surely Tiwari wasnt going to hit Hilfy for a boundary on the last ball and at most would have taken a single there to take keep the strike for the final over with 13 runs to get which is a much tougher task than an under 10 target . The no-ball from Hilfenhaus turned out to be turning point of the match or just say the tournament . When kallis got out who could have thought that KKR Would achieve 16 from 7 balls with two balls to spare ? Another thing to notice was the smartness shown by Shakib. Even After he hit the ball in the air he kept running faster which is something a batsman never does when he pops up a lolly catch to one of the fielders . But Shakib was so sure about the no-ball that he kept on running to maximize the opportunity as much as possible and his job was made easier by Vijay who thought that he had the match point and started running towards the crowd . The look of disbelief on his face after the declaration of no ball was lol-worthy . Hats off to the street smart cricket by Shakib there and Vijay for providing the laughs . No way Shakib should have been allowed to get back on strike and surely fielders should have had the presence of mind to understand that the ball could be a no ball for above the waist full-toss. They even checked the Kallis one for height and this delivery was surely higher so it should have been in Vijay's mind. But kudos to Shakib & Twary for having enough common-sense to run 2. I remember creating a thread 1-2 IPLs back when he tried to take oh so nonchallantly and ended up grassing it. Vijay on the other hand was feeling high after his century in the 2nd Eliminator . Must have wanted to hog the limelight for the last time so after taking the catch he suddenly went over cloud 9 as if " I took the catch , Csk win the match and I iz legend " Tried to do a Akhtar there but only ended in further embarrassment .
