I vote for SL - and I think their bowling allrounders like mattews, Kula and Perera will provide them an edge. Malinga is always a threat in T20 and if the Big 3 also fire on top of the order they can do well. this is probably first time WI will come in as contenders - again with good set of bowling allrounders- Bravo, Pollard, Russell. Lets see how the team gels

Should be one of SL or Pakis. SL is playing at home and have a bunch of all-rounders in Matthews, Kulasekara, Perera etc. backed by Malinga & Mendis/Randiv. Plus they have decent batting firepower in Dilshan, Jayawardene, Sanga & Chandimal. As for Pakis, this is their favorite format as it suits their bits & pieces players perfectly. Likes of Hafeez & Afridi can really make a difference in T20 by scoring quick 20s and bowling their quota of 4 overs. Plus they have Ajmal & Gul who are decent in T20s. India doesn't have much of a chance and wouldn't even make it to semis. We don't have even a single bowler we can depend on and no all-rounder to speak of when teams like SL/Pak/WI have 3 or 4 in their side :omg: Another factor is that impact of our batting quality is diminished in T20s. Likes of Kohli, Gambhir & Dhoni who generally play a long knock when they get set in odis don't have the same luxury in T20. Here a quick 20s & 30s is all you need and a slogger like Umar Akmal can actually be more useful than someone like Kohli. It would be great if we somehow manage to win a game in the super 6s this time ound, forget winning the tourney.
