Raghav_12
I believe expoits of athletes like Bolt, Blake and rest of Jamaican dashers, Kenyan runners and many others deserve a thread of it's own. To begin with all contenders of 100m dash - Bolt, Blake, Gay, Powell, Gatlin won their respective heats and moved to Semi Finals.

Cricketics
Man it's not easy to finish such race. One guy even went down. I think the Russian. Well done to all and especially to our Indian who did well and maintained his speed.

Raghav_12
100m Women heats going on. I always wonder why nobody came ever close to WR of 10.49, set up way back in 1988. For most of the races in recent times, winners record 10.7 -10.8.

Raghav_12
Theres speculation she was roided for that one These speculations seem to be true if you look at the sequence of events. She stopped running suddenly after Seoul 88 though she was at her absolute peak at that time. Her retiremnet is linked with introduction of much stricter drug testing in athletics following Ben Johnson episose at Seoul. But surprisingly she was never caught. She died at pretty young age, 38, rather mysteriously without having much of the history related to medical problems. People relate her death with the sustained overdose of drugs which they believe she did for a long period of time in 80's.

Raghav_12
A white man wins Men Long Jump Gold :omg: That too a Brit :omg::omg: But gold medal performance (8.39) was way off from WR of 8.95, which is also a freakish athletic feat. Very realey athletes come anyway near that distance. Previous WR of 8.90 had lasted quite some time, close to 30 years, IMHO.
