Dhondy
What are we to make of this fella? He gives his all with the bat, ball or on the field, has no fear, keeps learning new tricks, and has had one of the best starts to his career for an Indian quick. Bowls at a decent, if not express pace (average 133-5, quickest 140-42), moves the ball both ways, and reads the batsman very well. He is an intelligent bowler. Do we have a world class quick here or am I getting carried away? His stats so far. 35 wickets in 7 Tests @ 24.4, with a strike rate of 42.4 per wicket. This morning, he looked absolutely burnt out by the numerous overs he had bowled, and the heat. Somehow he found the reserves to summon one last bit of effort and scalped Amla, Smith and Prince in succession, and then returned to pick up Hall. It was a magnificent effort. Don't quite recall seeing such spirit in an Indian pace bowler in almost three decades of following cricket. Link to comment

Dhondy
Re: How good is Sreesanth? True, Boss. But this fella is so strong in the mind. Refuses to accept failure, and doesn't get sated with success. Fitness is of course the crucial variable, but at least he gives us hope. Link to comment

The_Black_Prince
Re: How good is Sreesanth? He is good.........and will get better. I expect him to lead the pack. On the other hand, Zaheer fades away quickly and VRV is too one-dimensional. Sreesanth, Munaf....and either Zaheer or a fit Balaji. Link to comment
Sooda
Re: How good is Sreesanth? One hopes zak can maintain current form for a good while. Hes at a reduced pace so hopefully it is easier on him. Sree is a clas act. Would not call him world class yet, needs to play a lot more before we come to that conclusion- bu he has all the makings. Gambit
Re: How good is Sreesanth? He ran to Sachin(who was at mid on) after the Smith and Prince dismissals. Wonder what he said. Anyway, he's taken 16 out of the 38 Saffie wickets to fall so far. A lion hearted performance. Link to comment
beetle
Re: How good is Sreesanth? He is really good...but we have to give him a few more series before calling him world class.... Full marks for dedication ,attitude ,talent and pure guts! Link to comment
observer1
Re: How good is Sreesanth? will have to judge him in 2009 - people were talking the same way about zaheer, pathan, nehra, balaji etc just 2 years ago. i really worry for his knees though one of these days, he is going to twist one leg around the other during his runup! Yea it will interesting to see him bowl against Younis Khan because he doesn't take cr*p from any body.... even Inzi can have his moments of anger while the openers on the other hand wont last long enough to show their emotion.
