Re: Weather Update I think it is pretty much ruled out an early start as the conditions are not going to allow a start. Also because Prince first walked away when the reading was about 8 the trend has been set. Every time the light meter shows anything under 8 India can walk off. Even if you take a positive perspective and look forward to bat there is no way the game is going to start on time. Ravi Shastri clearly expressed it just does not matter anymore and India are going 1-0 after today given the weather conditions. He has absolutely no doubt the game is not going to happen for a decent duration.

Re: Weather Update It looks pretty worse and they already mentioned the light is not good enough to start the game. Also the artificial lights are already on. That must be making it look good but they go by the light meter and the light meter only measure the sun light not the artificial lights.

Re: Weather Update Update 7:30 GMT continued... Asad Rauf says that the light is worse than what it was last evening when play was called off. The umpires however asked Rahul Dravid if he was willing to play and he said no. So they will again take a look as things get better, perhaps in about 15-20 minutes from now. So the news is badlight delays play on the final day... Update (07:30 GMT): The umpires have done an inspection and the word is that they are off to have a chat with the Match Referee Roshan Mahanama. We'll keep you posted...
