Separate test team

The problem in selecting the test team in India is tht players are selected based on ODI and T20 form which is ridiculous. Gambhir dhoni ashwin kohli raina yuvraj are all odi products. we have to feel for kohli who has to go bang bang in IPL and the next month he is supposed to score a 200 ball 50 :hmmmm: Why cant we have players like Smith Strauss cook who are test specialists. Why cant they select run making machines in Ranji instead of selecting IPL products. I had posted this team on another thread, posting it here now. Sehwag Rahane Pujara Kohli Ashwin Jadeja/Tiwary Dhoni I.Pathan/Chawla. Ojha Ishant/Zaheer Yadav. Promote Ashwin @ No. 5, and it opens all ends up, you have an option of playing 3 Spinners, 3 Seamers and as Many as 8 Batsmen. I am backing Irfan Pathan coz he is one of the best exponents of reverse swing and you cant write him off as he does contribute with the bat aswell.
