badmash
ability to move the ball both ways, would do wonders under swinging conditions gotta make sure he doesnt go the irfan pathan or the other kumar route Link to comment
yoda
hopefully we've finally found one decent medium pacer. this is an impressive debut. Link to comment
CG
Smart and thinking version of praveen kumar. Link to comment
maniac
Very impressed....might go for a few with the old ball but still has a lot more potential than awana. Best parrt about him,is he seems to use his brains, also the fact that he is a decent bat, might just be a great find for us Link to comment

Iconoclast
Good swing bowler ... but to be successful in longer formats he's gonna need to reverse it also. Link to comment
Hur Rizvi
Good swing bowler reminded me of irfan pathan by the way he swung the ball both ways... He should not try to bowl too fast , his strength is swing bowling and he should stick to it otherwise he can go Irfan pathans way Link to comment
bajrang
5YIcyEdrFm0 Reminded me of this lol. he swings it both way unlike your one trick pony anwar ali. and gets intentional player out not bunch of 19 year old kids. puneet28
He starts at about 125kmph and reaches about 130... No doubt about his swing or seam position..But I doubt his performance in longer run...He can be smacked all over in death overs. He Can do just one job like today..Bowl Out your all overs in start and try to get some wickets.. Link to comment
Ahmed
Good bowling by Kumar. Reminded med of Kulesekera when he took 3 wicket against our batting line-up in Lahore I think, where we only made 75 runs. But Kulesekera is 5 kph faster than him. Let's see the kid's progress. Link to comment
puneet28
What I liked about him is his thinking... He sets up that batsman so nicely.. Link to comment
cowboysfan
What I liked about him is his thinking... He sets up that batsman so nicely.. i want to see more of him in the coming matches,he seems to have control than PK who got hammered in LOI cricket in India.you need perfect control on line and length if you bowl at that pace on dead tracks in India. Tiger80
:nice: We are in urgent need of any medium to fast bowler .Hope he continue this performance Link to comment
chota_prakash
He looks a good prospect. The real test will be when there is no swing or seam on offer. Link to comment
dangerman1985
need to increase his pace to be effective against good batsmen. looks like praveen kumar type of bowler. Link to comment

Trundler27
:hatsoff: on a superb bowling performance under pressure..... he far out-bowled veterns like unlucky sharma, uv, jaddu, n co..... I really like him as a new ball option strictly in LOIs... if he can do only one thing (ie swing the new ball with amazing control) but do that in expert mode, then he is a big plus as we tend to bleed runs at the beginning, in the middle-overs, and then at the death.... so this might at least help the first phase of our LOI bowling issues. I'm sure he can get the new ball to talk because he uses his wrists more so than the bowling conditions.... he has picked bucket loads of wickets in the ranji recently so he has bowled well in worse conditions against teams where even number 9 or 10 can score a double ton Link to comment

So we should not judge the pace just by what the speed guns show. Link to comment
