CSK Fan
But he has the orange cap and captains team to another win:--D You have still not got the gist of the while thing 1) Kohli bad mouths, plays irresponsibly, gets out cheaply in tests - Kohli's fault and AVKC can only help bring this to notice and criticize him 2) Kohli plays brilliant knocks, leads from the front - Credit goes to AVKC which caused this improvement in him Hope that makes it clear Link to comment
someone
This is exactly why Kohli should not captain India at all. Firstly, I do not believe in natural successor. Every player should be seen as capable of becoming the next captain ( Raina, Ashwin, Jadeja). It's important that that captain be liked by his own team as well as the opponents. Kohli does seem to fail to both areas. Raina perhaps would be the ideal one as he really is the perfect team player. Link to comment

I don't see Raina getting into discussions with anyone during a game too many times. He should be aware about everything on the field and should provide some on field inputs about the game and his ideas to the captain. It can be about anything really, field placements, bowler selection, anything. Next he has been playing 8 years for India now, its high time he should have stood up to the captain and coach and asked for a better position in the lineup and to be given more chances higher up the order rather than accepting what his captian says and batting at No.6, his whole life. If anything, it only shows Raina is a team player and will play any kind of role that his team needs/requires. Remember, you do not have to be the best bowler/batsman to captain your team. Also, you don't need to be "aggressive" to show you are involved. Anyways, I think India missed a trick. They should have appointed a new t20 captain last December. And Raina would have been the best one for that. Link to comment
