adi B
i hope hyderabad pitch is similar..we should play ojha instead of bhajji, rahane in place f ishant. Link to comment
crics
Australia have themselves to blame. They won the toss which was crucial. Wrong decision by umpire allowed them to add about 100 extra runs in their first innings. Still they are going to lose by an inning shows their lack of quality spinners Link to comment

carnish
Hyderabad wont be similar to this track ... Hyderabad will turn but there will be a lot more bounce here for the seamers. Hence although it will be good for our spinners it will also be good news for pattinson and starc. And bhajji is back :nervous: Link to comment
BeautifulGame
Just wanted to know' date=' what is the meaning of a spitting track?[/quote'] Pitches were ball bounce chest high from good length I think Link to comment
bharat297
justified his selection a bit.if we play one seamer next match' date='it should be him n not Ishant[/quote'] I don't think we can afford just one seamer. We should also factor in reverse swing. I'd make the following changes: * Ojha for Harbhajan * Dinda for Ishant * And depending on the wicket, Rahane for Jadeja. Link to comment

Rather stick with Harbhajjan and drop Ishant for Ojha. Harbhajjan should be used as a part timer. Link to comment

Harbhajjan should be used as a part timer. then choose raina or yuvraj.. they can fulfill that 'part timer' role better... or give rasool or jalaj saxena a chance.. Link to comment

Dinda should at least be given a chance. If he can get swing he might be effective, especially if he can get reverse. It's unfair to not reward a consistent domestic performer. Link to comment

I'm just going by the squad. Obviously the ideal choice would be Zaheer or Yadav, but it's only Dinda as the other paceman. Link to comment

Sooda
^Yeah could score runs if you knuckeld down. Aus didnt help themselves by picking one spinner... Link to comment
bharat297
Oh look don't get me wrong I'm not a big fan of Dinda but I think the mentality that we can just go with one seamer because it worked in the first test is not a good one. It's complacent. Knowing Australia, they are going to improve against spin and we need to have an extra option of reverse swing. Based on the pacemen selected in the current squad, Dinda seems more likely to exploit reverse swing than Ishant who is just banging it into the deck at the moment. Obviously it would be best if Zaheer or Yadav were there but I'm just going by the squad selected. Link to comment
