It also is an aero dynamic model i.e when the ball hits the pads because of the smooth, curved pads the ball wih bursh away rather than strike hard. What I personally don't like is the shape at the top of the pads, it looks like there is slightly less protection at the top of the pads. NZ is pretty innovative, the bat that Mason is holding Laver and Wood is a local too and is quite different from the rest of the bats. NZ also came up drop pitch few years ago too. Link to comment
