Someone in the BCCI hates Pankaj Singh. Is he close to Lalit Modi or what? Nothing else can explain him being not good enough in a pace pool of 10-12 bowlers. Other than Mithoon and VK, decent selections. Both of them have done nothing to be in the sides ahead of Pankaj, Sid Kaul or even Sandeep. These selectors have also got no vision.

Also because Kohli, Pujara, Ashwin, Jadeja, Ishant and Gambhir have not been picked for ROI or any other squad (MSD having opted out), fair to assume they are certainties in the Test squad? Also suggests that Umesh , Irfan and Aaron are not yet fit.

Irani Trophy is from Feb 6-10 . The tour match for BP 11 vs Aus starts on 12th. Why pick Shami Ahmed and Rayudu for these back to back games? Hopefully they will swap a couple of guys picked for India A with these two.

Kohli needed rest after such a gruelling schedule of matches played recently. Pujara is a certainty, so he wasn't picked.

Other than Karnataka speedsters most of the selections are kind of okay. Suresh Raina and M Vijay could have been avoided in RoI team. Non-selection of Pankaj Singh in all three teams (with a total pool of 7-8 fast bowlers) is baffling. Are we sure that there is no injury or something.

This is going to be Tendulkar's last series, and one from Gambhir or Sehwag are probably going to get dropped halfway through the series

Thats just ur opinion. Just because a few minority amount of fans keep on banging this view doesnt mean the large majority of fans will / should change their view.

But then the same majority fans lose their rights to complain when the team doesnt do well in the longer formats of the game. Fans shouldnt be such hypocrites, if they support and cheer only for one format of the game, expect the team to do well only in that format. And those players who have skills for predominantly that format will be chosen. Dont come complaining in those cases

Should be sacked as captain in all formats and axed from test team. However, needs a rest. No need to play irani. But of course raring to go for fat cement owner

Why should he be sacked from ODIs and T20s? I agree that he should quit Tests, but he is one of our greatest captains in the shorter formats. Even if he is sacked, who is going to replace him?
