Sachin tendulkar vs shahrukh khan

Recommended Posts

SRK wins this hands down. In terms of versatility, SRK has successfully played: the pyaar ka maara/persistent aashiq: Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, DDLJ Hockey coach: Chak de India Psychotic stalking anti-hero: Darr Psychotic F1 racer: Baazigar Scientist: Swades Down's syndrome mareez: Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham Can opener? : Ra.one Hell, SRK has even played SRT in the song " koi hero yahan" SRT on the other hand is consistently uni-dimensional and hence boring. All he can do is bat. There too he has the dubious distinction of failing in crunch matches. Maybe SRT wins amongst other cricketers. But when it comes to real heroes like SRK and Amitabh, SRT is nowhere in the fray.

Sachin moved around cricket grounds for 24 years and never had any problem with any of the staff. Shahrukh got involved in cricket for 2-3 years and got into brawl with ground staff couple of times. You decide.
I doubt if the Wankhede ground staff ever addressed Sachin with the highly glorious and flattering epithet "Pakistani" . Hey, at least SRK doesn't dodge taxes on the luxury cars in his stable. :P

:cantstop: BTW, its criminal to include versatility and SRK in the same sentence.

Aamir is also very popular. An excellent actor, has had a long illustrated career, did a show called 'satyamev jayte' on various social evils that plague India. A role model in many ways. Would you say Aamir > Sachin? How abt Modi? from a tea seller to the most favored PM candidate, excellent administrator, a crowd puller, didn't even marry for sake of country. Is Modi > Sachin? And is Kejriwal > Sachin?? Or anand(5 time world champ in chess - a sport thts played in all countries, mental sport - so enhances Indians' repo as being brainy, or atleast not inferior in any sense, people ) > sachin? Or would you say, these comparisons are a joke? wait, you said sachin > gandhiji, didn't you?

:D I'm perturbed by the amount of hate SRK gets in here. This entire SRT vs. SRK debate is mindless. One doesn't have to belittle SRK to be a SRT fan. Or vice versa. SRK, has made it big in an industry as a rank outsider. He wasn't from Mumbai and is from a very humble middle income household. He's not really that good looking. Sheer hard work, dedication and struggle has seen him reach where he is today. That too in an industry which hires new employees only on sifarish and name throwing. Quite a role model if you ask me.

No comparison. One still accepts money to dance at rich people's weddings and other is literally a Bharat Ratna!

yeh sahi hai....sports is supposed to be fun, so, khelne ke maze bhi le liye, duniya bhi ghoom li, mote paise bhi bana liye, fame bhi kamaa liya, 2 saal kisi deserving youngster ki jagah bhi kha li, bharat ratna bhi le liye, real life hero ki upaadhi bhi le li aur baaki sabko reel life hero declare bhi karwa diya..

It would have given time for any deserving up n coming youngster to settle in the team. His average was continuously increasing. At this rate he would have averaged 50 + in SA. He should have stayed atleast for SA tour.:((

You very well knew Dravid had a horrid, horrid coiuple of years, much worse than Sachin or Ponting. He didn't retire. He waited till his stats were better. If Sachin has only played WI his stats would be better too, he skipped that series and gave youngsters chance On the other hand Sachin thought he still had something to give to the team and groom youngsters. Even though his personal stats were affected he retired when he felt he was no longer needed

That's really mean  The "can do no wrong, India ki shaan maan aan, Bharat Ratna" Tendulkar sits while the elderly ground staff who have worked all day have to stand. If that weren't enough, Tendulkar hogs all the limelight too sitting right in the centre. SRK as you can clearly see in the pic you've posted, stood to greet the ground staff. He didn't disrespect the ground staff by remaining seated while they were standing.
