What should be each roles, should India keep dhoni as the fixed wicket keeper for both one days and tests?

Re: Dhoni Vs Karthik Dhoni would have smashed as many runs or even more in little time on this pitch. Karthik has done a good job but Dhoni wins hands down on pitches like these. I don't reckon Karthik would have done any better in the first two tests . Dhoni still should be the first choice both for batting and keeping skills.

Re: Dhoni Vs Karthik Good to see a quality keeper and batsman like Karthik in the reserves. Dhoni is still first choice but it will help in fostering a healthy competition and with so much cricket being played it should be possible for both to get decent opportunities.
