Back in 86, when India used to be favorites in games vs Pakistan, Miandad's six off the last ball of Chetan Sharma's over stole the game away from us, which we should have won. This six would go on to have a jinxing effect on us for years that followed. Pakistan reigned supreme over us for close to a decade (I must add that they were still being whopped when it came to the important world cup matches). I cant help but wonder the way we stole the prelims game in the bowl out, would have a similar effect on Pakistan for the next decade. I do think so. Cant wait to find out!

That six effect is over-hyped.. why cud not India's successful defens of 125 cud effect them mentally.. it's nothing much some biassed umpiring coined with some ball tampering makes sure who will be winner in an event involving equally matched team

Did you see the way Pakistan loses it mentally everytime they seem to recover & look to dominate. India OTOH, looked ice kewl from the very beginning. We knew that we dont have to win it, they'll lose it for us.

It was an absolutely retarded shot by Misbah! 6 off 4 balls, did not require such improvisation, esp since he was good at hitting sixes. And Afridi's was the biggest brain fart of all. They lost it mentally before lost the actual game!
