Yuvraj4Captaincy
That was really crap. He wasnt playing for his country Pakistan but for the muslims of the world and he apologized to them for losing. He took the game too far. sandtest
I have said this very clearly on this board about Pakis and Paki mentality....their is an entire therad dedicated to "roots of Pakistani Brand of Hatred" Whether it's in Cricket or profession, a Paki will consider all except Ummah members as Kuffars. Nuff said.

MundaPakistani
Incorrect thing to say but you can expect such a slip of tongue after such a heart breaking defeat. A bit like at the toss where Dhoni didn't even shake his hand. We shouldn't be too upset at either one of them.

I am not trying to take a dig at the guy, specially when he is down, but Malik doesnt come across someone who has a slip of tongue. Only a couple of days back there was this article on ICC website titled, "This Shoaib doesnt take cr@p" or something like that. Not to mention of the time when his team forfeited the domestic match and he made amply clear even then that the issue was between him and his maker and not cricket. He could have made a mistake yes, but he could have meant it too. xxx
coffee_rules
Yeah right, this is exactly similar to not shaking hands. But, one BOD that can be given to Malik is that he is not good in speaking English. So, something must have been lost when he translated it from Urdu/Pashtun to English. He must have had Ramzan in mind and he must have substituted "fans around the world" with muslims.
Dooks
well out of order. He should apologise for that comment. My INDIAN muslim friend was totally incensed by the remark. Captain of Bhangra
I'm sorry, but it's next level stupidity. If Dhoni said "Thanks to all the Hindus around the World", there'd be uproar, and rightly so. Malik's comments show why most of the English (despite the tense rivalry of the summer, and the 6 sixes off Broad), and neutrals, were cheering India as we watched the match. They turn it into Muslims v the rest of the World themselves with dumb outbursts like that...
coffee_rules
BBC changes the quote to... "I want to thank everyone back home in Pakistan and around the world - sorry we didn't win, but we did give 100%." Now this quote makes sense. may be Malik did a boo-boo. that's all...
