Justice For Nehra Campaign

What is the Justice For Nehra Campaign? The Justice For Nehra Campaign is a campaign dedicated towards promoting India and Dalli De-hare-devils fast bowler Ashish Nehra's status as an all-time-great Indian fast bowler. In recent years, Ashish Nehra has become a constant source of ridicule among jobless internet trolls, often being compared to untalented trundlers like Hasoge Danda, Piss-hant Sharma, Chedhi Pratap Singh, Munnibhai Patel, Craptan Pathan, Vinny Koomar among many others. In particular, the most disheartening aspect of all has been the fact that most of these trolls have been Nehra's fellow countrymen. This callous attitude towards one of Indian Cricket's modern bowling legends has forced me, ICF's own jalebi_bhai, to start this campaign. The campaign's main objective is to constantly remind Indian cricket fans of the achievements and contributions of Ashish Nehra, as one of India's bowling giants, towards helping India become the best limited overs team in the world and to ensure that he receives the adulation and credit that he richly deserves. Advocates of this campaign will be relentless in their pursuit of insaaf for Ashish Nehra. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

List of Nehra's Major Achievements:

Winner: 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, 2002 Champions Trophy (shared) Runner-Up: 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup Winner: IPL 2009 Bronze Purple Cap Winner: Datta Pawle Award For Best Public Humiliation of MS Dhobi - 2005. Winner: Best Pommie Basher Of The Year - 2003 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The last time a similar thread was started for an Indian seamer' date=' he never played another match and has ended up in Tihar Jail :fear: :fear:[/quote'] JFN is a passive campaign.....it is not about getting Nehra back in the team.....more like a tribute.......the only reason I made this thread is cuz someone asked me what the campaign was about......

DyvmjJ97OMU When he was bowling well and in rhythm, used to swing it quite a long way and was more than a handful. He had too many injuries and couldnt play consistently. Still, an important contributor for our World Cup win. Bowled superbly in SF against Pakistan. 0XkYTQjT4YI#t=2m25s Skip to 2 min 25 sec.

:agree:......people have very selective memory......one of our best LOI bowlers of all time......He himself agress that he is not perfectly suited to T20s.......off late.....people have been judging him solely on the basis of IPL performances.....:headshake:....

Nehra's highpoint was 2003 world cup. RP singh's high point was 2007 world T20, England tour 2007. Irfan's high point was Pak tour, Zimb/Bang tour. Balaji's high point was pak tour as well.. Does VK have any high point? Any series where he was one of the key bowler in winning it or getting somewhere?

Nehra also made a successful comeback in 2009 and carried on in 2010-2011.......Chedhi Pratap was a one year wonder in 2007....Irfan's initial years and 2007.....Balaji never really had a high point.....he was always about decent.....VK's high point was the jump in his bowling action.....
