fineleg
With Irfan Pathan "injured" - if you were the selector, which one bowler would you have picked and why? I like Shami Ahmed's selection but just curious - would you have picked the same or a diff bowler and why? Who is our next in-line best bowler? PS: BTW - curious to know if Pankaj Singh is considered a good bowler for ODIs (for whatever reason selectors wont pick him for any format). This is a separate question. I do like Shami Ahmed selection. Link to comment

KFC_Zinger
Munaf Patel' date=' his accuracy and wicket to wicket bowling is breath taking to watch.[/quote'] Why could we not rest all three pacers and test the bench.... I know the team is already selected but these tri series are the best way to judge people Link to comment

jalebi_bhai
We need someone who is a like-for-like replacement.....how many decent left-arm swing bowlers do we really have?? Link to comment
superstar
There was a rumor on crapinfo that either Munaf or Nehra wanted a players union when BCCI refused permission for SLPL. I think they have both worn the Indian jersey for the last time. Link to comment
fineleg
Stuart binny would be a like for like replAcement. Best Indian pace bowling all rounder in IPL 2013 I think with Jadeja playing as allrounder - selectors may have looked at Shami Ahmed as a better quality bowler than Stuart Binny. Link to comment

express bowling
Dhawal Kulkarni. I feel Dhawal bowls good areas and is not a brainless bowler. This is very important in LOIs. Also, he has good pace and bounce and can move the ball both ways. He is perhaps the most complete pacer in India now and has played quite a bit of domestic cricket. He looks like a finished product and not work-in-progress. Link to comment
Clarke
I'd keep langda Irfan & drop pissant instead :hysterical: Link to comment
