Number
I think marriage gives stability and some support, but it does really come at a cost. It becomes dull and predictable. When you are single, you are free to do what you want, some silly, funny and exciting things and then laugh over it with your friends, which you probably won't even think of after marriage. People who have a group of friends are worst hit by this, as in most of the cases it cuts them off the group. 3-4 years down the line, I see myself as a married man and it sometimes scares me. What do married peeps here think of marriage ? Would like to know how much it has changed your life ?
Crookbond
Off topic - One should get married when one is very sure about yourself and your spouse. Marriage is not a milestone to be achieved in life. In our society, marriage is treated like a tick of the list to be done; but things are changing. ravishingravi
It has made me more stable. It has brought a sense of inner peace, a sense of security. Knowing that there is some one who will be there with me to share my joy and sadness. Naah. BS. I am not married. I am just trying to think how I would justify this, if I were to ever cross that line.

In our society' date=' marriage is treated like a tick of the list to be done; but things are changing.[/quote'] Â agree...if spending time with friends is more important than spending time with spouse then you are most likely not ready for the commitment. One can always wait for the other friends to marry first and leave the group.....finally when most are gone ...you will be ready.:--D On a serious note...it helps if you can find a person who likes to have a fun life of her own too. If you are willing to let her go out and have her fun time rather than taking care of the nest in her time off from work...then she will be willing to do the same. Look for a bindaas wife to have a bindaas life.:) Â Â Â Edited January 17, 2017 by beetle

DomainK
Bachelors talking about life after marriage is a bit like people talking about life after death. 1. You have no idea what you are talking about, but you are scared like hell. 2. Whether death or marriage, you know that it's coming and the more you age, the more you get scared. 2. After death, you wonder, whether you will get heaven or hell. You wonder the same about life after marriage. 3. Some Godmen tell you that death is not bad, there is a better life after death. Your parents tell you the same about marriage and then look at each other and smile. 4. Thinking about death, you look at your friends and family that you don't want to leave behind. Thinking about marriage, you look at your friends and family that you don't want to leave behind. 5.When death is imminent, you see your whole life in fast forward. The same happens when marriage is imminent. No bachelor ever knows what life after marriage will be like. And the saddest part is that you can't rely on opinions or experiences of married men. They are like zombies. They are infected and now they want to infect everyone else.
