It was all going downhill till then ..[/quote'] It was a collective effort..almst everyone performed..even yuvi partnership was imp but at the end dhoni and uthappa blazing was crucial.Gangs start was vital and the most imp along with tendy.our slow and steady start by tendy alonsg with gangs and then yuvraj gave dhoni and co the momentum to build on and our bowlerd did the trick..bhajji and karthik bowled beautifuly and rp singh, pathan and zaheer were all good. no one hero!!!!!

I think thts the straregy India has prolly.. not to loose wkts for the 1st 10 overs wiothout worrying abt RR though it looks very conservation and old styled.. it seems to work for us..

I can take 3 years of no victories in ODIs against Aus only because our test form against them has been exemplary. Only team to beat them in not one, not two but three test series in the last 11 years and only team to win a live test in Australia in a long time and only team to draw a series in Australia despite losing a test to them in the series.

I had lost hope by the time of 35 overs itself. But have to appreciate the spinners as they brought us back into the game. Zaheer and RPS were too expensive early on and didn't get the ball to either seam or swing even 10% of what the Aussie pacers did. Still we won. There was a number of occasions when we were sloppy in field too. It is only the spinners and the wicket of Symonds which brought us back into the match! Hats off to Dhoni of holding his nerves till the end.
