the single biggest reason for AAP's success in these elections was their extremely loud and strong anti-Cong stand and now they are joining hands with Cong to form the Govt. The criticism' date=' loss of image and loss of support from the people will only just begin for AAP.[/quote'] Relax..This is what happens when you see everything AAP does through tainted glasses. They are not joining hands with congress, as you are alleging..They are just taking external support from congress..Its not like congress gets to have a say in policies and administration.. BTW I remember you were critical of AAP because they are afraid of governance :haha: and they are forcing reelection :haha: Make up your mind..

wow....base your whole election campaign on Congress's corruption' date=' get votes from people who are sick of Congress and then make a team with Congress.[/quote'] Just wait for some time, they will soon start saying that how they are (pseudo) secular first and thus have to united with champions of champions in secularism, Congress party.

In normal circumstances that should happen. But given it is Indian public who forgets many things quickly and can be influenced easily with right words/fear , it's not a guarantee at all.

Everytime for the last 20 years the people of Delhi only had 2 options - BJP or Cong. Now suddenly there came this new party which promised to change every thing and shake up the system. It ran its campaign on how corrupt the "regular" parties, especially congress, were and then after the elections it joins hands with Cong to form the Govt. We can see from the very fact that Cong got a mere 8 seats as to how very angry the people of Delhi were so now that AAP has joined hands with them, I do expect a backlash from the people.

either you don't know much about politics or you just don't want to accept reality. AAP has proven everyone that it is not at all different from any other party. Period.

Practical decision from AAP, but governing with the heap of garbage called Congress is going to be challenging. Just wish AAP had won enough seats to implement its own agenda without having to worry about any "alliances"

So is AAP the B-team of Congress or is it the other way round? Congress being the B-team of AAP. AAP told that they are fighting against corruption and targeted Congress but only to unite with them post-elections. A lot of hidden agenda.
They are not uniting with congress. They will only form a minority govt. Congress will only vote for them if they are asked to prove majority.

Outside support from Congress is always a recipe for disaster. They are forever ready to pull the support and will never let government function independently. To add to this, a lot of the AAP voter base voted for them on their anti-Congress agenda. AAP risks losing the support of this section of the electorate
In the world of politics, you never get unconditional support. I think AAP got overwhelmed with unexpected success and did not want to let go the opportunity, which is understandable. It will be interesting to watch how things unfold from here.

Nothing unethical about forming govt in Delhi with Cong: Kejriwal Arvind Kejriwal said on Friday that there was nothing unethical about the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) forming the government in Delhi, and reiterated that the rookie party would announce its decision on Monday after hearing from the people of the city. Arvind Kejriwal, convenor of Aam Aadmi Party, waves to supporters from his party HQ after winning against long-serving chief minister Sheila Dikshit in New Delhi. (AFP) In an apparent reference to the BJP’s remarks about AAP taking Congress support to form government, Kejriwal told HT, “It is a political question now… whether or not we form government … there is nothing unethical about it now.” http://www.hindustantimes.com/specials/coverage/myindia-myvote/chunk-ht-ui-myindiamyvote-delhi/nothing-unethical-about-forming-govt-in-delhi-with-cong-kejriwal/sp-article10-1164574.aspx
It's all started with AAP being an inconsistent party and changing their positions suitably

Didn't they win those votes through anti-congress agenda? What credibility will be left after AAP forms a government with Congress? All politicians are the same... shameful
And muslims appeasement policy. That's the biggest Congress's concern that their core vote bank is switching. Communal Violence Bill is being used to address that problem and bring back these vote bank.

Of course, they are. They are agreeing to go with the people/party whom they primary started out against (Congress party). It's AAP true face which is coming out, nothing but a proxy of Congress to split its anti votes.
