today ishant bowl good his last over with few yorkers. why he did not bowl the last over? hate shone why he change bowlers after every 2 overs. buvi could have been good in these conditions. None of the bowler bowl full qota?? if you wanna bowl from kholi and raina then drop one of the pacer bring in batsman.

This was another strange decision. Normally, he is bad but today, when he was decent, why was he removed ?

It is not that our bowlers do not show potential when they come to the scenes. Bhuvaneswar's bowling impressed almost every expert. Ishant was praised. Irfan Pathan was one of the most promising young bowler in the world. Even Shammi now is bowling almost on par with most SA bowlers except Steyn Yet it is the same story every time. They just fail along the way and become like every other bowler. In the last match I couldn't differentiate between how BK bowled and how Mohit Sharma bowled Surely there has to be an underlying cause to all this? You can blame lack of skills only so many times. Whereas bowlers of other teams only get better with every match, our bowlers lose confidence with every match and regress. There is definitely a pattern.

Zak is too old now, doesn't last for more than an innings. Others just don't have it in them to up it when the team needs them. They just show flashes of brilliance here and there (read: Ishant). Shami has been an exception but if the trend is anything to go by, he'll be joining them in 6-8 months.

Will Dhoni & Fletcher do the honourable thing? If this test is lost after being in such a powerful position then both the captain and coach need to show some honour and resign. It will be 0-9 on away tours under this comedy duo and enough is enough. The lethargic negative captaincy is just embarrassing and Dhoni shows no inclination to learn from previous horror tours. If anybody knows what Fletcher actually does it would be god to know as currently he is the most overpaid training cone in the world. The list of negatives they bring far outweighs any positives. We just cannot keep persisting with this dumb and dumber duo, just cannot.

Man take a lottery you may win, but dhoni resigning captaincy is like finding water on mars. Him being csk captain and sreeni's right hand dont expect such good things from bcci. Its just start of another loosing streak. NZ will be licking their lips.

What if Dhoni resigns, do our bowlers magically become world class under Kohli/Pujara? I don't get why people are after coach/captain every time we lose. Every time we lose its been the bowlers. The difference between 8-0 and now is the batting order and look at the batting, how has it come off. Ishant-Zak played in 0-8, Ashwin played in Australia. Only Shami has been the difference.

Unless you try a change of direction you will not know. Cannot just keep them in post on the basis of what if. And it us the captain and coach who are responsible for team results - away from home they have been shocking. Remember it was Dhoni and Flecther who opted out of chasing 80 odd runs at around 4 an over on the WI tour - that just shows how negative their mindset is.

Then why we pick ishant always, pankaj is also tall hit the deck bowler(im not from punjab) Actually dhoni and sreeni doesnt care about test cricket. They can make money in ipl and make square turners when teams tour here and say we are no2 test team. I would like dhoni to quit captaincy in tests only let him has just a keeper.

dhoni will bring in shammi in the ending overs when the batsman try to score some quick runs
Typically defensive captaincy by Dhoni. Rather than trying to take wickets upfront, bowling Fatwin as a defensive bowler and resting Shami for 2.5 hrs. . Shami was the best bowler in the 2nd innings as far as wicket taking ability goes. Stopping runs doesn't win tests.

The storyline is we cant produce world class fast bowlers or either class spinners. Our bowlers cant get 20 wkts not even a draw!

But I was talking about the approach of attacking upfront vis a vis keeping the attack for later with the couple of strike bowlers we have. Shami, who looked to be the most likely bowler to pick up a wicket in the 2nd innings, could have been used for a 3 over spell in the 2.5 hrs he rested.
