shortbread
Hoping this captaincy melodrama wont affect Kohli's batting. My biggest worry in Kohli stepping up to the captains shoes is whether the pressure will reflect on his batting?! At the moment he is India's batting lynch-pin especially in the shorter format. Since Eunuch Sharma's opening impotency will be displayed in 9 out of 10 matches we play, it is very vital that Kohli is in prime form at no. 3. Being 2 down early will hit India hard!! My concern is if the pressure gets to Kohli and if affects his own game, India will mess up its biggest strength, our batting. I know this Asia cup arrangement is a temporary thing but in the future should we think of an alternate candidate and let Kohli concentrate on what he does best?! Link to comment
Yoda-esque
skindia lol actually is a better choice. Atleast he will solve our opening problem. Uthappa yeah, not a bad choice Link to comment
cricraja
Only thing good about Ashwin is, he has managed to keep that hot head Thugbhajan out and finish his career, which should have ended in 2008. I like him for that Link to comment
Switchblade
skindia lol actually is a better choice. Atleast he will solve our opening problem. SKINDIA will be much better than Nohit as an opener or at 5 or 6 Link to comment

Switchblade
There is a danger M Vijay could come back lol. He alreaedy got 2 fifties in this year Vijay Hazare . How vital was Yuvi to us isnt it he was an absolute beast for us in the ODI format after his loss of form we are struggling to find a descent middle order batsman :(( Link to comment
vijay50
Rohit must be dropped. This Rohit guy failed in middle order in ODIs and they moved him to open , where he is still a failure. Heck, even Sehwag can make these 10-15 runs what Rohit makes, in 4-6 balls. I say drop this Rohit guy and bring back Gambhir . Similarly drop Rayudu and try Pujara. Iam tired of this fake wonder Rohit. Link to comment

GolGappe
Rayudu by himself is not bad but if you have Rahane, Rayudu, Rohit, and Karthik in the same line-up, the situation becomes really bad...too many slow-go's. Karthik is a short term arragnement but India can't afford to have remaining 3 in the line-up all the time. Link to comment
GautiMaan
Vinay kumar batting is better these days lol More angry with Dk hasnt learnt a thing Link to comment
GolGappe
He ain't going anywhere. Comes from Mumbai and has Dhoni's backing - Nobody can touch this eternal under-performer. Link to comment
urbestfriend
We are missing Raina Raina was going through a lean patch , but he has always been a handful in subcontinent conditions and we are missing him. Batting at #5 or #6 in ODI is not an easy job, they are expected to start scoring as soon as they come to bat and Raina is much better than Rayudu. Also his bowling in subcontinent conditions would be much more useful. Link to comment
Sean Bradley
He is riding on his 200 a tad too long now, the more he plays outside India, the more he is convincing everyone that he is a load of crap, a burden on this Indian team that we need to unload off. Link to comment
