Indeed the point im making is that he must be dropped if he doesnt perform after a reasonable run,not carried around like in ODI's because of tailunt and klass,this test side cant aford that. But 8 innings (out of which he made 2 100s and a 50) is not a reasonable run. He should be ( and I'm sure he will be ) given a chance till at least the Aus tour. Link to comment

Could not score even on a flat Basin pitch on 2nd day. He is only good enough to play T20. Lack any decisive foot work and defense. As someone said above, the guy just has 8 test innings. Give him the England series or atleast first few tests there. I know we are all frustrated by how India have managed to allow NZ make a game out of this test match, but let's not bring that frustration into this. Link to comment
