Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you a new concept on ICF which will feature the "Great ICF Auctions". To begin with, this is a fun game that will go between a few teams on ICF during the IPL 7. Rules and Basics 1. There will be an organizer (say gaurav92). 2. There will be team owners (Apply on this thread). 3. The owners will have to pay the organizer some fees (say 1 trillion) each. 4. The owners will have to form their teams via auctions. 5. Here, users will get registered on this thread for auctions. They will all be assign some base price. 6. First 50 participants will get to the auction list. 7. We will finalize on one auction date. 8. Auction will be held in ICF chat room with all 8 owners (or their representatives) along with the organizer and an auctioneer (chosen by the organizer). 9. There will be min and max criteria for number of players in a team. 10. There will be a purse of ICF$ beyond which no team can spend 11. The actual auction start, and players are selected in respective owners team. 12. Unsold players can be called upon for another round. 13. Once the teams are formed, actual game starts. 14. The team owners can make strategies for their respective teams in Super Selector. 15. Each user will make his own team for IPL and play Super Selector. 16. At the end of the tourney, the points of each user will be added to their respective teams. 17. The team with max points wins the tourney. 18. The organizers distribute the fees collected from all owners (say 10 trillions) as prize money to the team which is distributed to team owner (50%) and remaining 50%to the users in the team. 19. We can keep some amounts for runners up too. Team owners and users 1. Anybody can apply for team owner after payment of some fees 2. The min and max number of players in a team will depend on the number of users put up in auction list to safeguard the interests of the users. 3. The fees once decided by the organizers will be the same for all owners. 4. The prize money will be full amount of the fees collected and no margin or profit is earned by the organizers. How did you all find it? Any questions, suggestions are welcome :icflove:

gaurav I was thinking we can have 10-15 teams of 2 members each.....that will bring in more competency n interaction n realism n good thinking togethers players would be allocated tym within which they would have to chose a team name-partner1-partner2 format post it. then the auctioning of 20 marquee players on day1 day2 batsmen auctioning both capped and uncapped day3 bowlers same day4 allrounders day 5 keepers 1.each team to have at least 12 players max 15 players out of which 11 would play in gameweek1(say 7 apr- 21 apr). 2.change for gamewwekk 2 and so on gameweeks 3.a captain change for each week(say 7 apr-14 apr) 4.scope for scouting.allow 2 match cards(after gameweek1 and gameweek3) where the teams have option to go back to auction pool and pick the player they want to replace 5. each team has to pik 1 marquee player, an uncapped indian,4 indians in their starting lineup. and a fees of 1 trllion is too much 10 billz is ok and rest the amount received during auctioning can also be used for prize distribution.MAKE SURE PURSE CAP IS NOT TOO HIGH AS WELL. :nice:
