SLICKR392
6 wickets after bowling 58 overs and opposition scored 500 :hysterical: :giggle: it's as useless as zak's fiver against NZ Had no support from the pacers. It wasn't a wicket for the spinners either, a flat one and it was a brilliant effort to get that 6fer. Link to comment
G_B_
Mishra in England especially. England have traditionally struggled with leg spin Link to comment

adi B
jadeja, mishra over ashwin outside SC. mishra, jadeja, ashwin, ojha in SC,pick on form as all of them can be devastating in SC Link to comment

bharat297
Out of the 5 listed, I'd pick Mishra ... Sure Mishra was terrible in England, but Ashwin was terrible in Australia and terrible in South Africa ... Jadeja was not threatening enough in New Zealand. Out of the above 5, Mishra seems like the best pure spinner. However, I would like to see someone completely new given a chance. Link to comment
Marut
He was terrible last time in England Yes, he is still untested outside Asian conditions. I don't mind him being given the chance to prove himself again, as other bowlers like Ashwin and Jaddu have not delivered the goods so far. Link to comment

Gunner
He was terrible last time in England Yes, averaged over 100 on that tour, was low on kaanphidence and was bowling 2-3 long hops and full tosses every over, along with frontfoot No-balls. He seems to have worked hard on his control and no-ball issues. Might go back to bowling crap (like he did against Australia) when his confidence gets hit. Link to comment

Gunner
But he batted better than Sachin in a partnership they had. Yeah I remember thinking that he might get a hundred before Sachin's 100th 100 :cantstop: IIRC both got out in the 80s. Link to comment
helperononline
mishra a big NOO in test he might be a good option in limited overs cricket because batsman go after his bowling and lose their wicket but in test batsman just play him out (waiting game ) and he will lose his patience and bowl all round the wicket Link to comment

Much will depend on whether Mishra is having a purple patch or we really have a Mishra 2.0 on our hands. Both Pakistan and WI are poor teams, Pakistan poor because they have a mental block against India in big games and West Indies is a team of wild sloggers. We need to see more of Mishra especially against big teams, in important games as well as batsman friendly conditions to judge him. Link to comment

undisputed chap
Chinaman kuldeep yadav can be handful overseas Firstly is a leggie & may get more turn & bounce. Secondly he is a very rare type of bowler can be used as s mystery spinner. Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
Ojha Ashwin not good enough to get wickets on pitches away from home. Ojha the lone spinner away from home at home Ashwin, Jaddu, Ojha trio. No Mishra in tests :orderorder: mishra a big NOO in test he might be a good option in limited overs cricket because batsman go after his bowling and lose their wicket but in test batsman just play him out (waiting game ) and he will lose his patience and bowl all round the wicket :this: Just not consistent enough with line/length anyway even if he doesn't lose patience. Mishra is nothing special and doubt he can get a good test match batsman out who isn't slogging. Link to comment
King Tendulkar
On pure abilty as a spinner this is my ranking Mishra Oijha Jadeja Ashwin Bhaji Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
Ojha can be India's Herath, who did well in SA and reasonably well in Aus. Herath got a 5fer in Aus which is rare by beating batsmen in the flight. Link to comment
