Whenever pacers target the top of off stump to the top of 5th stump  and are in good rhythm ... they get wickets.

 

Shami did it in the first innings and Ishant doing it in the 2nd.

Stokes bowled more bouncers. Ishant has wrong lengths for some time. Umesh and sam bowled slower than others. This is what this means. Its a stupid stat.

Umesh Yadav bowling mostly under 137 kph. Whats wrong with him ? Niggle?

 

The fastest he has bowled is 142 in 47th over.

It's a very subtle change, which his bowling arm is close to his right shoulder, length of rotation decreases along with his stretch reflex. He would still bowl quick with this action if he runs faster in runup.

Much better pace from Umesh 137-141K but he still did not bowl at his top speed. But bowled much better performance in the 2nd innings. Bowled some nice outswingers and balls that went straight with the angle. Beat Curran multiple times before getting his wicket. Kohli missed a trick by not bringing him a bit early. Shami was over bowled in his first spell today morning.
