CG Posted June 10, 2017 Share Posted June 10, 2017 He did not bowl badly against Lanka.His first spell was good and he Bowled good line.He is not good at death but he was forced to bowl majority at death which was a mistake.Also big improvement is he did not bowl short and wide like earlier stilanka batsman played some good shots on the up off good balls ,The pitch was belter. speedheat, express bowling, Vilander and 1 other 4 Link to comment

When we have such a pool of pacy bowlers who are accurate....success is bound to come more often than not. Our pace attack did well in 3 out of the 4 matches so far. Just a match back, our bowling was being considered as one of the strongest in CT. Like the sanity with which you make points. @express bowling. Umesh actually bowled well up until the 40th over, his first spell was both economical and impressive,also don't forget he rocked bangla and pak those were also ODIS, also don't forget that pitch was a road, but who cares its look like you have been waiting for umesh to fail skipping all your breakfast, lunch,dinner etc. Mosher, MCcricket, MK55 and 3 others 6 Link to comment

He seems reluctant to bowl yorkers which is his main wicket taking delivery. He is relying more on slower balls. When Bumrah tried a yorker for a free-hit-ball..... it was spectacular...very accurate and at 148 k...and bamboozled the batter. He's the best Test bowler we have similar to how Rahane is one of the best Test batsman and both should stick to that format. Link to comment
