It showcases his potential and I hope the selectors have noticed this. what ever i saw of avesh was just one IPL match..so i just cant say much. BUt the way he beat samson and got him out and one more batsman was show casing that he is a international bowler in the making...not ready for Sure but one who can play for india. i have expectations from avesh khan, ankit rajput, pradeep Sanghwan- he is the fastest left armer faster than kulwant , brainder Saran- most intelligent left arm quick bowler, HYD fast bowler Mohd Siraj and the chennai yorker specialist bowler( forgetting his name). i am not sure whether selectors are supporting sanghwan and saran seems to have got unfit..so siraj and the chennai yorker fast bowler are the one's who may get lucky along with rajput...avesh needs more time to come up but he will. vishalvirsingh
what I have posted above is the speed in bcci.tv in the first match. bumrah and pandya did crank it up till 144k and both had a lot of variations ..lots of speed variations. all three had a lot of speed variations but bhuvi was not going full throttle even in the few overs and few fast balls that he bowled. i would say i liked what bumrah and even pandya dished out and would give bhuvi a 6 on 10 and nothing more. i would play shammi ahead of BHUVI in odi's as i am clear that if shammi is fully fit and running well , he should be played ahead of bhuvi too in ODI's. lets see if virat makes this change in the ODI tomorrow or not. express bowling 1 Link to comment
vishalvirsingh
against lanka shammi out bowled Umesh yadav in some test matches and constantly bowling around 141 to 146k...he was one of the most important reasons as to why lanka lost all the matches and every srilankan was frustrated to the core on the last day and kinda bowed down to indians like as they are born inferior to indians. if shammi is available and running hard then he is way better bowler then bhuvi and only bumrah can compete against him in odi..neither bhuvi and umesh is never in the odi line up should be ahead of shammi. shammi should have played in first 3 odi's and won us the series... vishalvirsingh
kolkatta pitch has been favouring fast bowlers recently and that should be kinda music to australian team ....i hope shammi or umesh is played in the 11 and if the pitch is fast and green they can even think of resting one of the two wrist spinners. any one of you any know how of the kolkatta pitch recently express bowling 1 Link to comment
Vk1
What makes Cummins tough to handle unlike Brett lee is his ability to get bounce from good length. Brett lee played alongside McGrath Gillespie and was the targeted bowler at times. Cummins seems to be a class act. Him and starc bowling in tandem in England 2019 should make Aussies as sure shot favorites Link to comment

Actually Bruce Reid was more 80's. Ya, very very tall. Yet, he was military medium in pace. Bruce Reid always reminded me of ' Jaws' from James Bond series :) Link to comment

express bowling
Superb swing and seam bowling both ways by Bhuvi and Bumrah in their opening spells. Both bowled wicket-taking lines and lengths together for a change and we are seeing the results. Bhuvi has 2 wickets and a dropped catch ....and Bumrah had multiple plays and misses and edges.
