Mostly in IPL it is a management decision or policy, m sure Virat has plans for Aaron, as it's rare to have a a pacer with 150 plus pace at max n he is quicker the. King Tendulkar
Are we really looking at ipl performances in regards to FAST bowlers and value in international cricket ? aaron should be in india squads and played and developed . Only then can he deliver . Judging fast bowlers on ipl is nuts Mosher and tweaker 2 Link to comment
express bowling
Fast bowling is one area where it is very important to introduce bowlers early to international cricket. No matter how good a bowler they are....they tend to lose pace in their 30s. Late introduction means having only a few years after maturing as a bowler ....and all the time spent on developing the bowler is not fully utilized by benefiting his services for many good years. YET , we see our selectors choosing Vinay, Dinda, Nehra, Mohit and denying chances to promising young pacers like Siraj, Nathu, Rajpoot etc. Really sad ! There is no use let them rotting in domestic cricket. Bring them in India setup ASAP like Aus does with their young pacers. Cummins, Starc, Pattinson, Hazelwood all debuted for Aus very early. Now they picked Stanlake after just 2 FC games. We need to do same with Nathu, Rajpoot, Siraj. Let them share the nets with Indian team. Bowling to this England team would have done wonders to their experience but here we are seeing 32 year olds Dinda, Legund. Do they even have any future in Indian team? Are these selectors going to re-cycle these already discarded players? Its baffling. Mosher and tweaker 2 Link to comment
tweaker
What the selectors have gained by selecting old players. The selection committee should access the results .on one side they have selected Bumrah,Pandya,Nair,Jayant, .& other side they had selected Harbhajan,Gambhir,Nehra,Raina etc. Mosher and express bowling 2 Link to comment

We have seen how Pandya has suddenly developed as a bowler after being a part of the India A and India teams, and not playing much FC. Our selectors should learn from that. Guys like Kumble and Dravid know how to guide young bowlers. MCcricket and tweaker 2 Link to comment

MCcricket
Dunno what crime Aniket has committed after performing every year, n has all the potential but selectors are oblivious, also Suyal was top Ranji performer until injury n GGambhir screwed him, needs to switch state. Nathu, Aniket, Siraj, Khaleel, should be playing in India, A, ROI, also some can be tried for our main side express bowling and tweaker 2 Link to comment

MCcricket
Aaron will make an impact under Virat as his main handicap was captains support, Aaron is an attacking option, he can swing the ball at pace, will be useful when we tour away next year, also can be alternated with Umesh and could be useful in ODI as well as he can bowl good Yorkers n bouncers as well as slower ones, he needs captains backing. Forever Indian
Aaron needs to be played only in LOIs IMO. He is too fragile for 5 day cricket and also has not been the most effective in first class either. He was a good Odi bowler when he initially started playing for India and should be played there only. Similarly Umesh Yadav's bowling style suits tests more and he needs to be played exclusively there. Vilander 1 Link to comment

Both have made improvements in accuracy but that is not enough for them to play limited overs cricket. They need to develop variations and accurate yorkers. So better for them play Test cricket now. Aaron can be a asset in Test cricket as he has a very good bouncer and can be used alternatively with Umesh. express bowling 1 Link to comment
