Why nobody calls India a rebuilding young team???? And wastes no time to have a go at Dhoni when anything goes wrong?

Runs scored - 12,234 Wickets taken - 265 No that's not Kallis' statistics, actually Kallis has better stats than that (13200 runs and 290 odd wickets) but the Indian playing XI's combined numbers that won at Lords after a gap of 28 years. Before the match began, there was only one Indian batsman averaging north of 45, an average considered as de facto minimum for a decent subcontinental test batsman. Ishant Sharma had accounted for roughly two thirds of all wickets that Indian bowlers had to their name in this XI. And yet, we won. And we did it with a hopelessly inexperienced set of players, a side still rebuilding after loss of eminent stalwarts like Sachin and Dravid, irreplaceables, and losing the services of Zaheer, Sehwag and Gambhir due to a combination of bad luck and age. In quick succession. We don't have a single player who has played more than 100 matches, England had three. We have just 2 players who have played more than 25 tests, 6 players had not even played 10 test matches, juxtapose with England who boasted 5 players who had played over 70 test matches, and all of them still in their prime. Make no mistake folks, ours were pure underdogs and still remain so in this test series. Please give them time, even if they go on to lose this series, it has been one helluva effort from these guys. NB - The XI that turned up for Bangaldesh in its last test match had a total aggregate of 10,803 runs, the Indian XI that played at Lords at the beginning of the match had 11,600 runs. Go figure!
