New technology - Hot spot camera

Did any of you guys notice the new innovation by the Channel 9. This one clearly shows whether the ball hit the bat or not. This one is even better than the super slow mo camera. It is also very easy to figure out whether the ball hit the bat or just the pad. I think ICC should look at this one and use it in future. This is way better than the snickometer.

Re: New technology - Hot spot camera yeah i saw it, the infra red camera. it is superb. they have all the toys at channel 9. awesome. what i liked was they showed it when hussey hit a boundary, it showed how the ball hit the dead center of the bat.

Re: New technology - Hot spot camera It's a good additon and this is this year's addition. Channel 9 definitely is the best in terms of innovation in cricket. They seem to come up with one each year. Couple of years ago we had the clustered images and that is something that did not contribute to cricket but lest they tried something new.
