The first reported sighting of IS flags and banners in Kashmir was on June 27, intelligence agency sources told NDTV. This was followed by two more incidents on the day of Eid. Officials, however, do not rule more such incidents going unreported. The first sighting was reported from Zadibal - a Shia-dominated area in Srinagar. In Iraq and Syria, the IS has been targeting people belonging to non-Sunni sects, particularly the Shias. In Jammu and Kashmir, they make up about 14 per cent of the population. Intelligence officials believe that four young boys who left their families in Maharashtra in May and have not returned were recruited online by IS to fight in Iraq. Sources say they are worried about web recruitment increasing in India. "We do not rule out the possibility of the people exposed to IS propaganda in the internet self-radicalizing," the official told NDTV and added that "it will be almost impossible to control if people have self-radicalized." Earlier this month, two men from Tamil Nadu were arrested for allegedly ordering and distributing t-Shirts with the IS emblem - a group photo of people wearing the shirts went viral. If moderate muslims consider themselves muslims then it is their duty to not only talk and condemn not only ISIS but what is happening all over the world with muslims . Practically they are in conflict with every major religion in several parts of world .Either you have to accept that there is something wrong with muslims or the entire is doing conspiracy against them . Moderate muslims cannot just bury their head in sand .If they feel that islam is preached in wrong ways to youths then its their duty to talk to leaders and do whatever possible that more youths all over the world don't join them.

No it is not their duty, you interest in this is just based on assumptions, it is for those who throw around labels to research a little further than asking others to condemn Isis who for most muslims would be in the kharjite category. They do to a great degree since they effed up the force that was holding this assortment of nutters under control. For all his faults, ISIS would have been done and dusted if Saddam was around.

Does India have any presence in Iraq to challenge ISIS? Getting Indian citizens out of the country is the biggest priority and is already being done to the best of the capability and presence that India has by the government. UN action is what the US will want it to be, and the US is already providing air support to combat ISIS. They cannot send troops on the ground because of domestic constraints, and neither can a lot of western countries who got badly burnt in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last decade. If you think Cameron has been hammered now, it is nothing compared to the hammering he will get once soldier fatalities start piling up in a war that cannot be won without massive civilian casualties.
They seem to, the nurses were returned un harmed, and some truck dirvers too males..so something is right there. India should just look at pulling out the people, careful not to take any involvement otherwise.

I prayed to god everyday to end the violence in the world, to stop killings &destruction which takes place in his name. If he is as loving & caring as made out be be why wouldnt he. Unless ofcourse he doesn't care or he isn't powerful enough to do anything even if he does care. So if he doesn't care about us or can't protect us even if he does care why should I worship him. Why should I follow anything he says. Why should I kill my fellow human beings in his name when even if he does exist doesn't care about us or protect us.

US is partially responsible for whats happening in this countries its well known they helped Talban and Al-Qaeda when Russia started invading Afghanistan which made them powerful which came back to hurt them Removing Sadam in Iraq was very bad move its descended into Chaos again In Syria US had been helping ISIS to try and dislodge Assad government and with help of US ISIS has grown in such as stature in a way till now US has been supporting ISIS in Syria and fighting against ISIS in iraq which I think is changed or will change after execution USA seems to be in the policy that enemies enemy are friends without even thinking that what the third party wants and then they effectively get caught in the tangle
