Laaloo
Ah! Finally after a long wait. That bad stint will help him improve his game. Good for us :) Yeah as long as we play home against minnows the RAT should be food. It's overseas when the opponents dangle different types of cheese, rat is found wanting. Link to comment

express bowling
Played really well today. The pressure on him was tremendous ... increased even further after being hit on the helmet first ball by Johnson. But his feet still moved and he went to the line of the ball to play.Shows a lot of fighting spirit. Well done. :two_thumbs_up: Link to comment

PBN
256 Runs scored by Virat Kohli in this Test (115 and 141), the most by any player on captaincy debut. The previous record was held by New Zealand's Graham Dowling, who scored 244 runs (239 and 5) against India in Christchurch in 1968. 53 Years since an overseas batsman scored two hundreds in a Test in Australia. The last batsmen to do this was Rohan Kanhai, in 1961, in Adelaide. 2 Number captains who have scored two hundreds in a Test on captaincy debut, with Kohli being the first batsmen to do it in an overseas Test. The only other player to do this was Greg Chappell in Brisbane in 1975. -Cricinfo Link to comment
express bowling
Ravi Shastri has rated Kohli's 141 as the best 4 th innings knock he has ever seen in his long association with cricket. I mean trying to chase down 364 , on a fifth day pitch, ball turning and jumping..with the help of only one more batter ....it is phenomenal. Kohli has showed his class and fighting spirit. Somehow, playing on difficult turning tracks seem to carry less weight than medium difficulty pace - friendly tracks....Very strange. Vijay's innings was extraordinary too. Link to comment
