Precambrian
I don't get it, are people assessing bellies by looking at a rather loose jersey? I don't think Raina is unfit. Link to comment

Sooda
Raina has always been a bit on the round side, but also one of the fittest guys around, certainly cant question his work ethic Link to comment
fineleg
It is surprising though, they are spending last few months with the team and trainers. Yet, they are not looking as fit as one would expect, a bit surprising yes. Link to comment
Precambrian
"not looking fit"? WTF that means? He's the most agile of all Indians on the field. Funny how people judge based on random things perceived from TV. Performances count, appearances don't. Sachin was stocky and short throughout his career. But he was probably one of the best outfielders we had in that time. Continued to remain so even into his 40s, with a strong and accurate arm. Link to comment
Cricketics
Kind of going Viru's way in increasing weight, but the dude is so fit and great in the field that I feel that he will know when to lose the weight and where to draw the line. His game hasn't been affected yet so that is good. Link to comment
Precambrian
There is a concept called being 'functionally fit'. There are people who might outwardly stocky, fat, but are among the most fit group when it comes to actual performance. Look at Watson - the guy looks like a body builder but is so fragile that CA has its fingers crossed every time he steps into the field. What's then the use of having an outwardly "fit" body? Let's not buy into the western concept of fitness and stuff. While am not advocating for Romesh Pawar type guys, it's quite stupid to ignore actual performances while assessing fitness.
