Ronaldinho could be set for a move to Chelsea, according to one of the numerous reports on Wednesday which suggested the embattled Brazilian is finally ready to depart Barcelona. Ronaldinho has fallen out of favour at the Nou Camp this season, especially since his reputation was damaged by highly-publicised reports of his nocturnal party lifestyle. Amid falling sales of his number 10 shirt, a series of substitute appearances and an apparent lack of form, the 2006 Ballon d'Or winner is now on his way to Stamford Bridge, according to Spanish sports daily Marca . Marca cited none of its sources but said the 27-year-old already holds an offer from the English Premier League side offering him 10 million euros a year. British newspaper The Sun reported as far back as September that Chelsea were ready to offer Barcelona a whopping 70 million euros (102 million dollars) for Ronaldinho, who would receive an annual salary of 17 million euros. But the possibility of Ronaldinho's departure from the Catalan giants has been amplified by the arrival in the city this week of his brother and agent, Roberto de Assis. AC Milan are also said to be interested in Ronaldinho, who according to his brother appears ready to leave Barcelona before his contract expires in 2010 should the club express that wish. "He is fine at Barcelona, but if someone wants him to leave he will go for free - without having to pay the get-out clause," Roberto de Assis told several Spanish newspapers. De Assis appeared to deny that any deal had been done with Chelsea when he told El Mundo Deportivo : "I have not read the newspapers, but it is a big surprise for me, because I have not spoken with anybody. "I cannot receive offers. The only one who can receive them are Barcelona." "Is Ronaldinho leaving in December? Ask the club," he said in Barcelona later on Wednesday, before adding that in the world of football "everything can change very quickly". Meanwhile Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard, whose future at the club has also been subject to speculation in recent weeks, has brushed off persistent rumours that Ronaldinho has been seeing his daughter Linsey. "Her boyfriend is Brazilian, but it's not Ronaldinho", Rijkaard told a Dutch publication, Life after football , according to Catalan daily El Periodico .

If he goes there, he's only gonna get worse. If he does go there, its only gonna be because of the party lifestyly. Chelsea's play doesnt suit him. Also, if he does his research, this is chelsea what players say about chelsea... This is exactly what ronaldinho's problem is, and if he comes to chelsea, well, he's gonna destroy himself. Florent Malouda has described the intensity of Chelsea's training sessions as "terrifying" and expressed his reservations about the Christmas period. The French winger, who signed for the Blues from Lyon for £13 million in the summer, has been out injured for several weeks and is looking to regain match fitness before this month's crucial run of games. But he has expressed reservations about the December and January fixture list, saying it "sounds terrible", as well as the methods used in practice at Chelsea, describing it as like playing in a full-blown Premier League match every day. "Training sessions here are terrifying," he said. "They are just like matches and you go flat out." And Malouda has also accused his team-mates of adopting a similar approach during the games, with the focus on pace rather than precision and technical ability. "During the actual games it is as though everybody's brains are switched off," he continued. "People play by instinct, spontaneously, in the way they did when they first discovered football." Malouda's questioning of the English game does not stop there, however. He also calls into question the diet of players at the club, saying the club exercises "no control" over what the players eat or drink. "You can help yourself to whatever you like, drink Coke or anything," he said. "It is a good job I have come over here at the age of 27 and so I haven't been following the same diet as the rest of the club's players." Chelsea's next game is this weekend at home to Sunderland, before a top-of-the-table clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in 12 days' time.

Best possible thing for Barca actually. Get loads of cash for someone you don't need. Bojan is playing really well, and they already have Henry who can now play LWF since Eto is back from injury. The biggest loser will be roman!! This is Shevchenko all over again ... And why the hell did he sell Robben? Good thing Jose left, too many stupid decisions by the owner ...
