Ironhide
Umesh Yadav was dropped by KKR two matches back, he came back with good control and pace after that and got 5 wickets in two matches. Wasim Akram said in the interview that he made some technical adjustments with Umesh and his control is much better now. Wasim has also helped Shami before world cup. Wasim should be made bowling coach of India or atleast some short time coaching stint with Varun Aaron. Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar are excellent desi bowling coaches who understand the language and mentality of local bowlers and unlike our rubbish domestic coaches, these two always say the same thing: " Never compromise speed, gain control with speed"
express bowling
What were Sandeep Sharma's speeds today ? Did he swing it both ways ?
Ironhide
What were Sandeep Sharma's speeds today ? Did he swing it both ways ? Sandeep Sharma was swinging it beautifully, both ways, speeds ranged from 130-138 KPH. He got wicket at the end, was unlucky not to get any wickets in his superb opening spell, Rahane is a test grade player and saw him off, Shane watson was struggling to put bat on ball and take singles in his overs. CoverDrive
Sandeep Sharma has done well consistently Unfortunately can't see too many young pacers who have really impressed. Why doesn't Punjab try shardul. Anureet has been average
tweaker
Punjab should play Shardul in the next game.He can be useful batsman in the slog overs & can bowl at 135 kmph.He can also bowl yorkers in the slog overs
puneet28
Anureet performed in first two matches, bowled some yorkers too. But now we might see Shardul playing also as Anureet's performance dipped in last two matches

swatpulla
When it comes to pace + skills, Nehra is up there with Shami. Needed more opportunities.
vishalvirsingh
Nehra is so good that he should be played for india in t20 atleast and shud be considered for odi. But his fielding n fitness are horrible
swatpulla
Nehra is twice the bowler Umesh and Mohit are. If Ashwin can play despite his fielding, Nehra too deserved a place.
puneet28
Impressed with speed of Nehra 135k-137k at age of 35. Surprising for a Indian bowler.
Ironhide
The first match was won by the excellent bowling by Guru- Shishya combo of Praveen kumar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Praveen Kumar has low pace of 125-130 KPH but has deadly accuracy, moves the ball in the air and hits yorkers and Low-full tosses consistently in the death overs. Bhuvi hit 130-138 KPH with good swing in the initial overs and at the death overs also he is able to bowl many yorkers. Just 37 runs were required in 3 last overs by KKR with 7 wickets and big smashers remaining but still they were restricted by these two bowlers and KKR lost by 17 runs
Ironhide
In the second match, They say that batsmen take all the credit and it's true after the injustice done with Nehra. He deserved the Man of the match, no questions asked instead of Raina. In a T20 match at Bangalore where everyone gives 40 plus runs in their 4 overs, Nehra took 4 wickets and gave just 10 runs, holy feck, this is equivalent of scoring 100 runs in 40 balls for a batsman !! Nehra bowls at a good pace of 135-140 KPH with good swing, good control and yorkers and slower balls at the death overs. He is a freaking complete package, should directly get inside Indian ODI and T20 side, a MUST addition for World T20 next year.
rkt.india
Nehra is twice the bowler Umesh and Mohit are. If Ashwin can play despite his fielding' date=' Nehra too deserved a place.[/quote'] Nehra's problem is injury. He does not play ranji trophy for Delhi due to that and only plays T20s these days to extend his career. He is good enough to only bowl 4 overs a game. vipin
Atleast play Nehra for India in T20s and keep him with the team as an assistant bowling coach or something. His brains need to be picked and skills transferred to our upcoming bowlers.
