G_B_
to certain extent i blame Saurashtra pitches over there are so flat that any pitch which is different overseas causes issues Link to comment
Number
He will lose his place to KL Rahul at this rate as Dhawan will surely be back opening in India. Link to comment
G_B_
the thing is i back Che to score heavily in India. Same with Shikar. What the problem for both of them are away series. The same for Rohit. India maybe need to move beyond players who perform heavily in India but are dud outside the country or the subcontinent. They need to get to a team which is maybe not the best in India but is the best possible team overseas. Especially with the batting. Link to comment
game_changerr
. What . They need to get to a team which is maybe not the best in India but is the best possible team overseas. Especially with the batting. at the risk of losing some home matches?? Link to comment

vvvslaxman
Pujara is in. And Pujara is out. 0 (6) :hysterical: Link to comment

Gollum
Time running out for Pujara, every right to call him HTB based on his career thus far. Link to comment
kosingh
Why the hell is he in England highlighting his weaknesses? His weakness in English conditions is one that's best left ignored. Go play Ranji or something and pile on the runs. Link to comment
vayuu1
I always felt he is more similar to Laxman then dravid, sadly his knee has made sure he is a slow mover, I feel rahane is better suited to 3 than pujara, rohit should come at 5 and pujara at 6. Link to comment

kosingh
Kind of need to work on a weakness' date=' don't you?[/quote'] Sure, I give him credit for trying. It's the courageous thing to do. I just don't see him ever being any good in England. He'll play what-- like 2 more series in England in his career? Focus on maintaining his strengths and confidence in the remaining conditions he's going play in -- i.e. the condition he'll be playing in 90% of the time. That said, now that he's chosen to try and overcome his weakness in English conditions, I hope he's successful and goes on to play several masterful innings in England. Link to comment

How is it possible that batsman who do well abroad will not be best in india? Home tests are equally important.Losing at home would be disastrous. These are young batsman even our greats struggle don their first tours. They have to be backed and they will come good. Scarves
You need to back your best players regardless. If they have the skill, talent and hard work they will succeed everywhere. You just have to back yourself as a player and hope that the coaching staff and selectors back you. How can you improve if you don't try to improve? Link to comment
vvvslaxman
He has a good temperament which is a rarity all over the world. So we just have to back him to come good. Link to comment

Scarves
It's funny that Indians don't like as much as everyone around the world. Link to comment
Pagalpanti
Never expected Pujara to struggle so badly vs swing/seam. He always seemed so compact and technically correct. Which is why we should keep backing him, cuz once he comes good he'll probably be our best bat. Link to comment
Shivaji bhonsle
I have said this hundred times now. The injury on his knees have slowed down his reflexes. This is very sad indeed. I still remember that dive in a ipl match which cost him his career... Link to comment
