swatpulla
As I did some more research, I read that after Japan, Nepal and India second and third most earthquake prone regions in the world, majorly because of Indian plate moving at the rate of 47 mm/year. So while that keeps HImalayas climbing higher, it also screws us when it comes to earthquakes.

Only a matter of time' date=' it is bound to happen.[/quote'] These smaller Earth quakes from time to time help to prevent the bigger ones. Delhi is also due for one.:((

Sachin=GOD
Any chances of aftershocks in MP? Been outside since last hour. Aftershocks usually come for around 1-2 hours after the main one. Hopefully there won't be more aftershocks but it can't be ruled out for some more time.
