So, Has anyone called its isp and complained about some site not accessible. I think there were some talks here which said new regulation to be brought in which by default will allow ISP to block the porn. (And later government retracted it, in Uk) Unless there is a regulation. ISPs can not block it and neither can they blame DoT.

Reading some tweets and comments in Firstpost-:haha: hilarious. What makes me happiest is that the govt felt no need to do even dikhava of taking people in confidence or consensus building. I just love how the govt treated the people like retarded serfs.

You would be treated that way if people keep offering them like one and that is what exactly happening.

Good news. Even kids at the age 13-15 are getting addicted to this due to smartphones and internet connection. Adults can buy such stuff from local cd stores. I support this move.
they cant possibly ban all porn sites...sites like elephanttube are still accessible. I have no views regarding the news btw...neither positive nor negative.

http://www.firstpost.com/india/all-possible-measures-will-be-taken-to-block-porn-sites-govt-assures-sc-2333614.html
Jul 8, 2015 20:31 IST New Delhi: Government on Wednesday assured the Supreme Court that all possible measures would be taken to block porn sites, particularly those dealing with child pornography. The assurance came after a bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu expressed its unhappiness that things have not moved forward and the petitioner in the matter was making all sorts of submissions. "You have not blocked the websites. The petitioner is saying so much," the bench, also comprising Justices Arun Mishra and Amitava Roy told Additional Solicitor General Pinky Anand. The ASG said "we will do whatever is possible". The bench, also asked Solicitor General Ranjit Kumar, who was appearing in another court, to assist it in the matter and advise the concerned departments of the government.
So Supreme Court thought Modi government will just do like previous governments :haha: Namo Namo

Holy crap ...a total crack down on 837 websites in the past two day :wtf:
Its still in trial phase. On Courts order, They want to figure out how to stop children watching porn. ISPs and DoT can simply go back and tell Supreme Court that they cant.

Our secular experts should be happy about it. After all' date=' Muslims also forbids it. And if it is ordered by court, the government has no role over it. So ask our courts to clarify?[/quote'] Its the first time I have seen Muslims support Modi for a decision. Never thought I would see such day. :giggle:
