According to the Police it seems to be :,,a conspiracy to engineer communal tension in Jammu and Kashmir, four youth — arrested in connection with a petrol bomb attack on a Valley-bound truck in Udhampur on Saturday — revealed the formation of a “Maya Gang’’ for carrying out potentially disruptive activities in the district. Pointing out that their interrogation was a work in progress, sources said that these youth were indoctrinated by some outsiders who visited the district recently.According to sources, they were shown video clips of alleged Muslim groups carrying out activities against Hindus, especially forcing their girls embrace Islam and indulging in cow slaughter. Typical fear-mongering. That has been said since 2002, while there have been many riots in non-BJP states in recent years. So actually those "secular" state governments are not doing their job and damaging the society.And actually the scene is being set to make Hindus second class citizens of the country. On the pretext of avoiding riots, Hindus are forced with reductions of rights and freedoms. The communal violence bill was set on that very agenda. That is how viewed abroad. Not RSS against minorities. These thugs were thugs even under congress or any other regime. They were, are, will always be like that. But i can clearly see highly excessive coverage . I have FB subscription to various Indian news sources. Pretty much everyone is covering this 24/7 like India is turning into an unlivable countries for minorities. Onus is on the state government to weed out these criminals. This blame game is not going to get us anywhere. Having said that Modi has to talk about it even if it is exaggerated. He can't duck out. I am for uniform civil code like marriage etc. But food control is against fundamental rights. We are not Pakistan/Arab countries. Beef has been banned in India across majority of the states for years, due to Congress pandering to upper caste Hindus.Muslims hardly eat beef in India anyways (cow). What has been going on for many years is the underground and legal slaughter of old cows who have lost their economic productivity. The main participants in that have been Hindus and not Muslims.This is another bogey to instigate large scale hatred and violence against Muslims. Last year it was love jihaad and Ghar waapsi, this year it's beef. The ultimate goal is to subjugate Muslims through whatever means available by blood thirsty Sanghis.
