Ojha himself is not great either but Andhon me kaana raja type.The situation now reminds me of great wicket keeper battle we had between Dighe, Ratra, MSK Prasad, Saba Karim etc. Glory days are back for us doccricket 1 Link to comment

tweaker Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 This was due,they should have selected Ojha.I think there is some lobby who does not want Ojha at all cost.Saha had now enough chances,to prove himself.The team management will not give so much chances to Ojha ,he will have to score 100 & take atleast 6 catches/match otherwise Saha will be back for next test. We should picking A sides with Saha, Ojha, Karthik, Patthiv. Rather these guys need to be picked for next A series games to see what can they do. Link to comment

No way KL rahul Saha did decent in SL , Yet i hve 0 faith in him. Karthik one of the player who had a much superior game than even MS dhoni as batsman in test cricket but his mindset is worst than anyone. Will always choke on chances he getsIll rather have Someone like Parthiv of sometimeHis batting was always decent he was dropped for his keeping He makes heavy runs every season. Is a left hander a gud player of fast n spin bowling. He still is 30 which even ojha n saha is Cud be played wid Till we someone like Bains or Samson performs at Ind A level Link to comment

He was carrying drinks on several tours and Indian selectors feel like they owe him a chance Y'all crap about Dhoni but he has spoilt you. India never had a keeper batsman like him and now you expect the sameAgreed ....dhoni is the best wicket keeper batsmen india has ever had.......but i always had this feeling that he was never a test class wicket keeper....there were multiplre instances, he dropped ctaches and it's okie in one-dayesr as he used to make it up with hsi batting but never was good enough for test macthes Link to comment
gakgupta Posted November 5, 2015 Share Posted November 5, 2015 Yes,he is extremely average and is nowhere near good enough to play for India in tests.Naman Ojha or Sanju Samson should be given a chance.Have u seen the saha's take on the leg side of ashwin bowling? it wads done with some style and non-chalance.....he is the best wicket keeper in india right now.....infact...of what i have seen so far....... he is the best wicket-keeper in the world right now....kohli wanted a best wicket keeper in india and he got one................And I totally appreciate him for that.......as a captain he should have lot of guts to do that....Some of you sitting in your drawing rooms and posting comments here think that you are better than guyz who are playing cricket for their living.....Kohli wanted a win and he knows that he can get a win by taking 20 wickets for which he needs 5 bowlers and a proper wicket keeper who dont miss a chance.....Yeah...its a huge gamble as inida might well loose a match but it's better than lame draw or loosing a match in 5 days.....i totally back him irrespective of results.......and i like aggressive cricket.... People...who dont think specialist keeper is not required...pls check 2003 India tour of Australia where pappu patel missed easy stumping of steve waugh....it was a last match of steve waugh and we could have won that match and series if that stumping was done....by the way he (apthiv patel) didn't contribute too much with the bat either..... PS:....from what i understand from RKT INDIA posts from different thread....there are some exciting wicket keeper batsmen in making....rishand pant (DELHI) ....Kishan (Jahrkand) ....Bahart (Andhra)...Ideally, i want one keeper for ODI's and one for test matches................Also, sanju's keeping is below average and will never make a cut into test side....
