BCCI gives Central contracts to women's cricket team

For the first time ever, BCCI has given central contracts to women's cricket team. There are two grades: Rs.15 Lakhs and Rs.10 Lakhs. This will help many cricketers as they don't have to take up secondary jobs and will be able to concentrate 100% on Cricket, It will also encourage young girls to consider cricket as career just like Tennis, Badminton etc.
