New shows coming up on Netflix - Link

Marseille — Friday, May 5, 2016

A tale of power, corruption and redemption, Marseille — Netflix’s first French language original series — stars Gérard Depardieu as Robert Taro, the city’s mayor for the last twenty years. As the municipal elections approach, Taro prepares his last coup: push through the vote for the construction of a casino in the historic center of the Marina. His successor, Lucas Barrès (Benoît Magimel), is already designated, but the his all-consuming ambition and the secret interests of the city’s leaders impede the mayor’s plans, so the race for mayor becomes a power struggle where no holds are barred

Marseille sounds like a good show! Also waiting for next seasons of Narcos, Marco Polo, American Odyssey, Daredevil, etc.

There is an old series called Forensic Files which is available on Netflix .... The series deals with how real criminals were caught using Forensics. Some of the episodes show the worst examples of humanity and the fact that many of the crimes are committed by those close to the victims

Narcos was released in Q4 2015 iirc, so hopefully, we will see S2 in 2016

Narcos has another season? I thought it ended with Escobar's end.

Better Call Saul is now available on Netflix. . :--D

How Escobar is located and killed after he escape from the prison should be interesting as well. He asked his family to go to Germany but once his family landed at the airport in Germsny, they were turned back. This made Escobar crazy and forced him to make mistakes. He was afraid that Los Pepes would eventually kill his family.

Never subscribe Netflix in India, slow speed waste of my money.

Unless I am mistaken - Netflix's subscription would depend up on the content offered in India, while the speed would depend up on your internet connection

I paid highest to one of service in India but never get good speed for Netflix and cricketHD ( online all cricket )

i don't know what your internet speed is but it helps to connect the device you are using to watch HD content with ethernet cable vs using WiFi

That is upto your internet service provider and nothing to do with netflix. A good high speed internet connection is must for netflix. A HD movie is almost 3GB of download on neflix

Watched the first three eps of Daredevil- Its is excellennt.Lots of excellent fights,all three eps have had some great Punisher v Daredevil battles.The 3rd has an especially great extended sequence which is the famous corrdior scene from S1,but times 10. I thought Jon Bernthal would make a great Punisher, and he is

LOL^well done buddy- what did you make of it? Not seen any more since the first 3...

I liked it! The first 3 episodes serve as an intro for the Punisher. Later, one key character is added while many key characters from S1 return as well. Will not spoil it for you more

Anybody have some good documentary recommendations for Netflix? I have been watching quite a few of those.

From the top of my head, below are some documentaries / documentary series:

Green Prince, WWE in color, Sons of cloud, Senna, Al Weiwei, The Square, Hunt vs Lauda, Los tiempos de Pablo Escobar, The Armstrong Lie, An honest liar,  Man on the wire and Jodorowsky's Dune

Quite a bit of movies to catch on Netflix:

Intouchables - disappointed with the dubbing. They should kept the original French soundtrack with subtitles. English dubbing made it an average Hollywood caper.

Was disappointed with Moneyball - Brad Pitt is no  Bale/LDC , no wonder he missed the Oscar. he couldn't pull the character. he is just a pretty boy.
