Yuvraj should not be in T20

Recommended Posts

Please don't select him for upcoming t20s.because of 3rd class bowler he is saved today

This seems to be the popular sentiment. ...and you may well be right.

But, it is not easy to start hitting sixes after such a long gap in international cricket. Raina had a chance to play a longish innings in the first T20 but Yuvi did not.

Tye is not a 3rd class T20 bowler, has lots of guile.

Yuvi's spin may come in handy in WC played in India.

I would like to see how he fares against SL and in the Asia Cup, before deciding whether Yuvi should play in the WC..

Agree completely.

Yuvi had similar struggle before 2011 world cup until it clicked for him in England match and he went on a roll .

He is back from such a long break so deserves a leeway as hitting from the start without any practice is impossible.

We still have the series against Srl and Asia Cup to ensure whether he is back in form .

A back in form Yuvi will almost win us the world cup .So should get as many chances before world cup to settle in.

Ridiculous how everyone still goes on about that single knock when he was MOTS for us in two world cups

Him not being in form literally has made our odi batting order look week from middle to lower middle also subtract a bowling option

he bowled pretty well and in India he is going to be more handy.

N lets not forget his hitting ability, wat u want rahane in place of him.

He needs more match time and when he gets his flow, this will b the most destructive batting order.

the timing is there , the power is still there , and clean hitting is still there.

Just needs some more runs and tht will give him confidence n he ll win few games on his own with hjis batting only and add his bowling

Not convinced with Yuvi's batting. But let's see how he does in the upcoming matches.

If Yuvi does well in batting then that's a great boost to the team. His bowling is a good addition to our team.

What we need to do is try Yuvraj, as well as his potential replacement if needed, in the next 2 T20  series.

Also.... give Pandya some batting practice in actual matches. Get him to bat early in a game or two.

Felt sorry for him at the end. He would have been disconsolate had we not won here.

I'll still give him some more chances. Always tough in your first match to start hitting sixes when your'e making a comeback. The timing that he got on that flick shot shows that he can still hit big sixes if he gets some confidence back.
