maniac
Not a jinx thread. Don't need to jinx England of all teams. looks like they have found the right combo. you can just tell by their attitude and swagger. as I predicted before Stokes is a future ATG and is already on his way to get there. another prediction that became a reality is Joe root....boy is he world class. moeen Ali too is a very underrated cricketer. England got this prediction based on pure cricketing accumen . i don't want to be too late jumping on the bandwagon after the semis. take it writing...mark my words England first team to win this tourney twice who would have thunk it. May be the records are not there yet but Stokes as a batsman as a bowler and as a fielder is a much better and upgraded version of Botham....he is like what would Flintoff have become had he realized his full potential. fineleg
Yes with Stokes, Root and even Barbie and others, England is quite a team nowadays maniac 1 Link to comment
maniac
England really took the 2015 wc debacle to heart....they are slowly becoming LOI bests. after getting kicked out of 3 WT20 first rounds we still keep recycling the same teams. even after the way we lost the 2014 final, we still have gone back to virtually the same players. yeah we are winning but I am still not convinced the way we are winning. we are just a one man team these days diehardpacer 1 Link to comment
bowl_out
So, no new WC champs this year huh? India, WI, Eng have all won T20 WCs... One one them is going to win it for the second time Link to comment

chewy
one thing for sure now, anyone of India, WI, or Eng are going to have serious bragging rights who is best T20ists since who ever wins, they will be first ones to win 2nd T20 world cup. adi B 1 Link to comment
asterix
If India wins having no big hitter in the team and pathetic openers, it'll be a joke... adi B 1 Link to comment
Lannister
Look at the way their openers go right from the start. They just don't give a sh!t about who the bowler is. I hope Dhoni is watching this. Mosher, diehardpacer and vijay50 3 Link to comment
Number
They are such a weird LOI side. They were pretty good ODI side till 2014, reached CT2013 finals. Played well in India in ODIs. Then suddenly went out of form in world cup and lost to BD. Now their batting seems to be toying with gun attacks. Edited March 30, 2016 by Number diehardpacer 1 Link to comment
zubinpepsi
Their openers and no.3 look very dangerous. This WC is theirs to lose. diehardpacer and adi B 2 Link to comment

adi B
England certainly look dangerous ,especially that batting line up they are the team to beat now just like in wt20 and also the fact that they have beaten us before in Kolkata.if they face windies then that's a different story diehardpacer 1 Link to comment

YCCC
I wouldn't say England have better bowling than India. Ashwin and Jadeja are better than Moeen and Rashid. Stokes, Willey and Jordan are not better than Bumrah and Nehra. India don't have a Plunkett so can't compare. Aside from Kohli's heroics, the bowling is the main reason India have got this far adi B and Forever Indian 2 Link to comment
