Rett can you stop your meter for some time :giggle:

MI vs DD could hold the key for both the teams .... RCB is still in for a chance to gain 8 wins

2/3 teams ending up with 16 is possible and we have poor NRR..

If tomorrow DD wins they through as they have 1 extra match in hand.

We are out.

Theoretically, as long as a team has an opportunity to get 8 wins, it has some kind of a chance .... teams can't control what happens to other teams but it can control its performance and hope for the best!

Based on team performance itself it's unrealistic...today is the very crucial match and batting failed miserably..first time score of less than 170 this season...

There will be one match going to rained off

Realistically, SRH, GL and KKR have good opportunity to get to 8 wins if not more. DD could falter while MI could gain .... RCB has outside chance if it bats magically but the bowling is likely to lose it at least one game out of the remaining 4 so it could be hard for it to reach 8 wins

Today's match was a 4 pointer (football fans use this a lot...Six pointer match )...

If RCB won both MI & RCB should have at same points with RCB one extra match benefit...

For once I would like to see a season where both KKR and MI both miss the play offs and see a new winner.

Not going to happen this year...Atleast 1 will be there

The dream scenario i want:

GL win both the matches left vs KKR and MI.

GL go to 18 and MI are eliminated due to NRR.

Sunrisers lose to DD and win vs KKR.

That would mean SRH go to 18.

DD to win vs SRH and RPS and lose to RCB.

DD will be on 18 points.

RCB to win both and finish on 16.

So we got the top 4.

SRH, DD,GL,RCB

KKR are stranded on 14 and are eliminated.

RPS win vs KXIP in the battle of wooden spoon and finish 7 on NRR. :--D

There's a possibility all top 6 teams could end up at 16 points. If that is the case, RCB may even end up at the top of the table :phehe:
