Does today's match signify passing of cauldron from Dhoni to Kohli

Both Dhoni and Kohli were very very determined to win the match for their side and raise their teams from the dire situation they are in.

The match effectively signify victory of Kohli's determination over Dhoni's indicating the shift of balance of winning ability from Dhoni to Kohli.

It is probably time that Dhoni retires from at least T20 cricket and let Kohli take over.

Both were nothing great as captain.

As individuals, difficult to compare a man at his peak with someone closer to the end of his career.

Kohli has been a bigger disappointment since he has some of the best in the world playing under him.

With the top 5 in that batting line up....they should have at least won half of their matches.

 passing of what ???

Where does RCB stand on the table with that Batting order with Gayle , ABD and Kohli himself

Yes. But they have played only 8 matches and have six matches left. They win 5 out of the 6 and they are qualified for the playoffs.

RCB won today because the other team had similar trash bowling. Now they have just 1 match vs GL who have a somewhat weak line up. Rest all are strong bowling teams.

weak bowling attack is hurting RCB big time......

This is when kohli should think out of box....should throw in some good domestic bowlers with weird actions in the middle...

Strong mind sees every situation as "Opportunity"...weak mind sees the same situation as "Problem"

This is where captains like imran khan, kapil dev stand out....

They go out and search for new talent who can create opportunities....

Unfortunately, kohli doesn't have any eye for talent....He should go for players like "Pawan Suyal"...or may be "Ankeit"....

What is this Dhoni's winning capability people talk about :hmmm: CSK was the best all round team in IPL hence the wins. When Dhoni was given a mediocre team, result is in front of us.Even his grandmother could have won the IPL with CSK.

Stupid thing to say , on contrary both their captaincy looks full of mistakes

both are handicapped with week bowling attack+ bad fielding + injuries. Not fair to judge their captaincy in such circumstances.

Infact rohit captaincy has looked best which again for a reason that he has very gud bowling attack n terrific fielding unit who makes every plan looks gud which is not the case with dhoni n kohli.

Any captain with such bowling attack n fielding unit + all injuries wud struggle
