Which out of contention Player would u consider again on basis this IPL

Ipl have always been a gr8 platform for youngster and many other senior player have used it well also to get back in national reckoning. So who do feel deserves a call up in national squad this time 

 

Yuvraj singh- His batting looks lot more solid than last time we saw him play for India. He has played few Impactful innings post his comeback. Another commendable thing is he is fielding at point and looks sharp on field as well. He was always Backbone of our middle order and his bowling provided depth to our team. One of the biggest reason he cant be ever ignored is coz he has been one of the biggest match winner and big match player. His oppurtunity lies in the fact that indian middle order still needs an impactful player and also a 6th bowler as well and as sixth bowler he is far ahead of anyone like raina, raydu, hooda, mann etc etc.

 

Yusuf pathan- He has never been so consistent and his destructive abilities is known to all. He also provides the us the extra bowling option. Indian team needs a hitter like him. But problem in his selection is he is at the wrong side of age , he is a very below avg fielder and as he ages he ll become more n more slow, U cnt judge his batting against pace n bounce in ipl due to level of bowling n pitches. 

 

Chawla - Once touted as next big thing turned out to be major disappointment. A leg spinner who was more of googly bowler, even though his googly had lot of big batsman under problem . But this ipl saw his leg spin turn a lot and his consitency looked a lot better. Every team always needs a gud leg spinner who cud give provide breakthroughs in middle . We already have ashwin n jadeja but we lack a leg spinner like other countries who have Zampa, tahir, yasir, sodhi, rashid which give their attack an edge even in spin dept over us. Chawla competition has always been with mishra and mishra has always been very consistent yet been out of favour for various reason. Few things that give Chawla and edge over mishra is fielding, being quicker through air and a better googly, also his batting is more helpful in short format. 

 

Praveen kumar- Always been a very gud new ball bowler but this time his death bowling have been absolutely brilliant . He was always a very smart bowler and his death bowling had provided a new dimension. India have been struggling off-lately with taking wkts with new ball. Could he be the answer? Problem lies with him is his fielding and Bhuvi who is quite faster and fitter than him and looks in gud form as well

 

Gautam Gambhir - Have looked gud this ipl with a changed stance and has been consistent like always. Every team need a left hander opener and dhawan form has been patchy for quite some time now. There were a lot of demands for his return which slowed down as Ipl progressed. Few things that favour him is he has been a big match player, one of the best players of spin , consistency, strike rotation. But there is a lot that goes against him - Both captains dnt like him, His new stance has limited his off side play which will be caught in International Cricket, Ability against pace n bounce on bouncy pitches, slow in field and low S/R compare to newbies. 

 

Dinda - The guy always had pace and heart of fast bowler. What he lacked was brain and control which looked a lot better this season. Ask every captain and they ll tell that they always need that one bowler who cud bowl any time and whole day with full steam and effort and he is one of them who does it.  One of the reason ashish nehra made a comeback was that he was one fo the seniors bowlers who can bowl around 140k and bring exp to table. Could dinda help in that case even though m not comparing his brains to Nehra g . 

 

Dhawal kulkarni is already selected so havent mentioned him. Fans of Rp singh, uthappa, irfan pathan , bhajji and other if there are any can give their cases as well.

what a waste-power hitter, good technique, good with the new ball and decent at death

 

would have walked into this current team but it's all over.

 

Uthappa can be a power hitter too but unfortunately he is also a top order player.... When he was moved lower down the order back in the day did not succeed which was probably one of the reasons he was dumped around 2008-2009. ....can be given another shot as our no6

 

Bhajji- thank you for your service now just retire

Vinay Kumar- can still bowl 1 good over at the start and make up for it later by bowling some big overs. 

 

Aaron- needs a good season in domestics where he picks a lot of wickets...or a county stint...something as time is ticking

 

Vijay in LOIs- maybe can be tried....seems to be in good touch....again same issues too many top order players

 

Karthik- international career is clearly over...stick to IPL

True Irfan if in form with ball and bat can walk in Indian team any time but its tragedy that there are many gud players who cant make in side becoz of lack of place and then there is Irfan pathan who can have a place easily provided he works hard on his game but he wnt , rather he wud give interviews claiming how he ll back in indian team in 6 mnths instead of playing full domestic season or even going to county. True what a waste this guy is and his fans blame Selectors n Dhoni shud actually follow his cricket and see what shit has he become. 

 

Uthappa- had he concentrating more on his bowling rather than being a keeper and tried becoming a lower order player he wud have been in indian team. I still rem his two knocks against Aus n Eng in 2007 at 6,7 where he turned the game. HE always had a stroke play to be a lower order player and i have heard he was decent seamer in his younger days with gud control. Infact many player from 2007 t20 WC claimed uthappa used to be the most consistent when it comes to hitting the stumps. This is where selectors role is imp they cud have told him that he can get in team if he works on these aspects .HE along with karthik are only 2 player in India who can play 360 deg innovative shots.  God knows who told him to be a keeper as he can try next 10 and yet he wnt be a decent one.

 

Vijay is gud player but Wnt get any younger by 2019 and is not that gr8 in field anymore. With rohit doing well as opener there is only one slot left for opener. 

 

Aaron wud still be in contention but needs lot of work . He shud go to county after some rest .

 

Karthik like uthappa has some mental issues , put some pressure on him and he ll make some serious blunder.
