Players who have ability to play for national squad should be selected for A tour.Instead of selecting same players again & again selectors should have selected some new players.

Nathu Singh,Aniket Rajpoot,Kuldeep Yadav,Hardik Pandya deserved to be in the squad.

Selectors could have selected separate sides for 4 day & odi series.

These 4 players defenitely deserved a chance.

What a pathetic team !

Why are players, who do not look international class, being picked repeatedly ?

Why are pacers who combine pace/bounce with reasonable accuracy being left out ?   ( Nathu Singh and Ankit Rajpoot )

Why are no wrist spinners being selected ?   ( Chahal, Quadri, Kuldeep etc. )

Why are promising all-rounders  being ignored ?   (  Hardik, Krunal  )

How many batsmen do we see here who have the potential to play for India ?  ( Manish is already in the Indian LOI team and I am talking about new players ...Nair, Samson and maybe Iyer have promise )

80 % of  the team looks like a cut and paste of the highest run scorers and wicket-takers from Ranji Trophy and other domestic tournaments. If it were that easy then what is the need to have a selection committee ?   A computer would suffice.

There are many players , like say Ankit Rajpoot, who has played only 5 Ranji matches and picked up 25 wickets @ 5 wickets per match. Why is the rate of wickets and runs ignored and total runs and wickets considered in most of the picks ?

Our selection committee is moving backwards.

Medium pace bowlers on Australian wickets? :giggle: I think we need a new set of selectors more than anything at the moment.

Dhawal kulkarni was smashed last time on his homoe WKts on A-tour tri series, he was smashed in Zimb, Zimb batsman were extremely poor this time yet they showed  no respect to him still he is picked up.

Even if he gets beaten up there he wud still be picked up

true if they going to select team copy pasting ranji stats well anyone can do that . Selectors main role is to identify player for International level
